Cyndi Tefft (cynditefft) | 38 comments A few reviewers have noted that my book should be read by older teens and adults (not younger teens) due to sexual content. I agree and would like to help guide readers in that way. Any suggestions?

I made a note of it on the book's page on my blog and will do the same on FB. Is there a good place to note that sort of thing on Goodreads, Amazon, etc?

There is now a new genre not yet recognized in the standard format yet. I believe it's called new adult or something stupid like that. Keepers has sexual content too, but it's really for the older HS crowd going into college. I'm putting above the barcode a thing that says "for ages 15+" but keeping the genre YA. There are a lot of books with sex that are YA, the thing is that they are not specific (no mention of throbbing members, or nipple tweaking, etc). That, obviously, is too graphic and needs to stay in adult romance...so the advice I've gotten "from the experts" is that as long as you're not too graphic you should be fine. How's that for ya? :-D

You make me smile, Beth! Did you know you're in the acknowledgments? You are a friend to many, including me. Thanks for the encouragement!
