We have had quite a few people really saying great things about Feed. I hope soon I have a chance to read it. I don't think anyone who has read this book has had anything bad to say about it!
It's so good, Amy! These books and the author instantly went to my all-time faves list. Fair warning that the first book may be a little slow in the first third or so, but it's worth pushing through. The second one is non-stop action.
Wendy i have a q i'm starting feed after i've read divergent. should i get the second one to start straight away?
Good! I look forward to seeing what you think, Kay. I'm kind of obsessed with reading status updates for these, hah. What we really need is for Book Three to be out already. *sigh*Cambria, I hope you'll give them a shot sometime! They're fantastic. And Mira Grant is an evil genius.
well i have about 90 pages of the dark and hollow places lft which i'm reading tonight, then i'm reading divergent and then i'm reading feed. that should give the book depository enuf time to send deadline out so i have it to start straight after feed :P
i just finished it and it was amazing. I'm gonna do my review for it tomorrow coz i just finished it and its almost 11.30 here hahaI'll post a link in the hands and teeth thread once its up :)
Oh, I liked The Dark and Hollow Places, too. I wasn't as big a fan of the second book, but I thought the third got things back on track.
i know. I'm starting it today. i didn't wanna start it yesterday coz i wasn't ready to give up on Four (the guy who i'm in love with in Divergent) so i decided to leave it till today lol
yes i need too. hahahai have had no time to read today coz i've been catching up on my blog, i have read 2 chapters but it's almost 10pm now so may as well leave it till tomorrow
Well, have a good night. SOmetimes things just get in the way. Half the day is gone here too, and I have gotten nothing accomplished....good thing there is tomorrow!
Summer is the best time to read b/c there is more time. So you read Richelle Mead's Storm Born #1? How was it? Is it YA?
No, the Dark Swan series is definitely NOT young adult. Lots of sex, lots of B&M. The graphic novel adaptation (which I assume is what you're referring to) isn't really appropriate for teens either. Older teens may find it, but it's not something I'd specifically point them towards.
Oh, I LOVE Dark Swan. I have some problems with the (view spoiler), but overall I love Eugenie and I like the story. Both guys are also very cute...although there BETTER not be any going back to you-know-who after what he did in the last book. These are really fun, Cambria--if you enjoy PNR/UF you might enjoy them.
The comics are actually really well done, too. I have to write up my review at some point, I've been so lazy about it!["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

i'm loving Feed atm it's amazing but it's slow going coz i'm getting over a head cold so i have massive headaches n i cnt read when i have a headache :(
i'm gonna post my review later. I'm just so tired from crying i can't think striaght right now let alone write what i thought about it coz i'll just be like::sob sob:: it was sooooo sad ::sob sob::

FEED review
DEADLINE review
This series is so, so good and I hope people will check them out. If you haven't read either book, it's totally okay to read these, since I tried to write them both without any spoilers. (but don't read anything that's spoiler-tagged in the comments!)
