New Academy discussion

Swimming!!

She knew she shouldn't, but once Alex the bright blue of the chlorine pool, she simply couldn't resist the wanting to cannonball.
After throwing her shorts and towel on one of the bleacher seats, probably there for swim meets, she ran towards the glistening pool, already feeling the slick cool liquid on her skin, and the shadows below it.
Jumping over this cute auburn-haired girl, she yelled "Can-non ball~!" contacting with the water's surface.
Once under, she felt the shadows at the bottom of the pool, about to loose herself in them.

While Alex didn't feel like leaving her precious shadows, she knew well enough that if anyone saw her, they'd freak out. She laughed at the thought.
She was about to come back up when she saw a figure swimming towards her. She glowed with emotion, emotion Alex recognized as fear.
Why would someone be afraid? The shadows were so comforting. Squinting, she noticed the bright auburn hair. It was the girl she jumped over!
Damn, she cursed to herself. She had to go back up.
With one final tug, she left her darkness, heading straight towards the girl who pulled her away. She pouted.

Natalie saw the pool and her eyes widened with fear.She hated water so much she sometimes didnt even drink it.She saw girls in there and thought they were crazy

"Heeey there~!" Alex splurted the water out of her mouth like a fountain, then she smiled to the girl sitting on the side. "Sorry if I scared ya. I'm...new here. My name's Alex."
She noticed the girl with straight brown hair, staring at them in horror. This expression caused Alex to giggle. Not a fan, ehh? This should be fun... her dark thoughts turned into cheery smiles, as she waved to the girl, "Hiya! Why don't you come in? The water's so fine that I might have a run for my money!" Alex laughed at her own cheesy joke so much that it took her awhile before she relaxed on her back, floating through the water. She closed her dark-red eyes, listening to the two girls.

Natalie screamed once she hit the water.She started feeling drained and held out her hand to see if fire came out,nothiing happened"Im fine"She said shakly"Im just not a fan of water

Of course, Alex didn't understand what just happened. True, she saw the fire girl shaking, but she was going to use her shadows to keep her dry.
That's when she shivered.
As Aima, definitely Greek for her accent was that of the people Alex and her family stayed with in a certain part of Greece, helped the girl out of the water Alex swore she saw a flash of blond run across the bushes. It was gone now, but she chuckled.
Surely she was going to be expelled for this.
Well...at least I met nice girls...

Natalie stood up"Thanks"She said"But it doesnt matter if im dry or not.i still have to wait an hour for my powers to come back"

Alex contemplated the question before it left her lips, "...Hey, are visitors allowed on campus?" Her eyes turned back to the shivering fire girl and Aima, smiling that they did not notice Darby as he headed for her dorm. She prayed that he would not set off her shadow hounds, since she wanted to stay longer, even make some friends. She smiled at Aima, even at the fire girl.
She just wanted to stay in peace...

"Uh...No particular reason." She tried to ignore Aima's sudden sharpness. There was no way Darby was here, right? He knows that any openings will get himself killed, he's come close to that experience before.
Alex laid back, drifting in the water. The bright red tattoos on her shoulder and back began to pulse, sending sharp pain throughout her body. She ignored the dull pain, and with the swish of her hand over the shadows of the pool, sent a protector towards her brother. He'd be safe within it, and find comfort that his sister was with him. The shadow moved swift through the water, and out of the pool.
Now, she focused on Aima, relaxed.
There's no way they found us yet.

When he reached the pool with his towel over his shoulder, Jet groaned. There were already three girls in the pool-two just floating in the water, and one sitting on the side, not going near it. A Fire girl?
He could care less.
Jet went to the other side-the farthest side from them-to stretch before he did his laps.

"Hey, Aima," Alex whispered to her, staring at the guy who just entered. He looked hot.

Lacey walked in, her bikini on, towel in hand, her legs were long and her body slim and perfect. She looked out at the pool and flipped her blonde hair lightly.

"Don't look now, but here comes a grade A hottie~!" She licked her lips as she watched him stretch. The only other person she saw have those abs was her Father's searchers.

Lacey glanced over at Jet, then smiled softly.

Jet started to stretch his arms, trying not to laugh at how loud that girl's whisper was. It reminded him of his sister.
Just a few more stretches in the legs and then he will dive into the pol, letting the cool water wash all his worries away. He only hoped his sister was alright.

Alex looked at Aima, confused, but smiling.
"...Wait... Have you ever talked to a boy before, Aima? Even in Greece?"

Lacey whistled. "Hey hot stuff," she laughed and limbed onto the diving board, then bounced a few times before doing a perfect dive.

He thought it was the same girl but the voice was different, a bit...different. He looked up just in time to see another blond dive into the water. She must have just came in.
He saw the other blond with brown streaks swim over to the auburn-haired girl.
The fire girl still sat on the side.
Shrugging, he dove into his side of the pool, starting his laps.
He was right, the water was cool.

Lacey found him after she opened her eyes and smirked. To flirt or not to flirt...

Alex brightened at Aima's blush. An idea popped into her head as she gave a quick glance over to where the boy did his laps. Then she glanced back to Aima, grinning, "Well, are you up for a new experience?"

(what?) (Oh, I was typing as you posted that. Seriously, I just thought of it.)

(And the problem with that is...? Each of my characters are all their own. I can only say what they want to do.)

Lacey surfaced and adjusted her top.

"Oh, C'mon," Alex groaned, "broaden your horizons, explore new things, live a little," she laughed.
Her eyes darted to the girl in the bikini as Aima went under. By the way she was eyeing the boy, she figured that she must be thinking the same thing, only for herself.
Alex sighed. She was hoping to make a new friend this way. New experiences always bring people closer together.

Lacey sat up one the edge, and flipped her hair. She was instantly dry, her eyes danced with red tints.

Jet continued with his laps, not stopping until his muscles ached so much that he could barely feel them.
When this happened, he leaned back on the ledge, his head up, as he tried to slow his breathing.
He was completely refreshed now. It was as if his worries for his sister just melted away.
Alison will be fine. I know she will...

Lacey looked up at the guy next to her, the hot one. "So..."

Jet looked over to the blond girl, the one who dove into the water. A bit startled, he didn't know she was there. All happy thoughts of his sister vanished as he was dragged into the reality of socializing. Normally he didn't unless he had to, or Alison made him. So when she started to talk, his mind ran blank as his cold eyes surveyed her.
"What?"

"Weel, you kind of came to me, a nice greeting would be hello." Lacey smirked and brought a ong leg out of the water and leaned her elbow on it, restin her cheek on her hand, looking down at hersel fto make sure she was still in her top. "So hello." Lacey giggled, her eyes slightly more red.

Jet chuckled darkly at her words. Narrowing his icy eyes, he gave a dark smirk. She was probably two or three years younger than him.
"Alright," he said in his fake-sweet tone, "Then I'll leave you to yourself as I bid you a nice see ya."
Instantly he went straight back to his laps, blocking out the laughter that erupted across the pool. It was annoying but Jet felt triumphant.
Socializing isn't as bad as I thought...

Lacey laughed and shook her head, she walked over to where she saw his toewl, and wrote her number on it.

Watching the entire exchange just for kicks, Alex couldn't help but laugh out loud at the guy turning the girl down. So coldly too.
Makes one wonder where the tin man's heart is, she mused to herself. Yet, she felt bad for the blond girl. She knows that with the body she had, the girl must not have had any rejections from anyone, but when she started laughing herself, Alex was surprised.
This school was going to be interesting, especially these two. She looked over to Aima and grinned, forgetting all about her little brother who was somewhere in this academy.

Lacey thought then, and on the other side of his towel, in sharpie, she wrote in big letters: IM HEARTLESS AND DICKLESS!!! and held back a laugh as she squeezed it between two fence posts, so it waved like a flag. She then laughed out loud, her number remianed on the back.

Crap, Alex thought to herself, watching as the towel waved and the girl laughed, She's gone insane!
Alex wondered how the dude would react...but the towel looked so old... She hoped it wasn't anything important to that guy.

Lacey brushed off her shoulder, Thats a hot girl for ya, She whistled loudly. "Hey you!"

Alex stared at the girl, blinking. She pointed a finger to herself. Though she doubted it.

Lacey shook her head and smirked. "Hot guy."

Lacey laughed and walked off, shaking out her hair and wrapping the towel around her.

Alex shrugged it off. She knew it. Now, she just joined Aima as she floated, surrendering to the peace.

When Jet finished his extra laps, he went to grab his dad's towel, the one he stole from his mom before he and his sister fled.
...Only to find it wasn't there. Furrowing his brow, his purple eyes scanned the pool area...until he found it, waving, with "IM HEARTLESS AND DICKLESS" written on the front. As his anger rose, the clouds above began to rumble.
Knowing this wouldn't do anything but alert Alison, Jet sighed, the clouds subsiding. "I didn't know we transferred into a preschool." He said, taking the towel down. He'll have to wash it without Alison knowing. Turning it over, he saw a number, probably the girls.
"Yep. Definitely washing it."

Jet noticed his sister before she even arrived. She was holding the hand of some blond-haired six-year-old, whom looked like he couldn't get here fast enough. There was also another girl holding his other hand.
He wondered what Alison was doing with the boy, and why she was even here-wasn't she supposed to be in her first period class? He walked over to them when they came in.

Alison could already see her brother, and would have run up to him if it wasn't for the little boy. It didn't matter because he came up to her anyway.
"Alison? Why are you here? Who is that boy? Why aren't you in your first period class?" He bombarded her with questions.
She smiled thoughtfully; same old worrying big brother.
"Calm down, Jetski. We're just here to help this little boy find his sister, right Xiala~?" Alison looked to Xiala with a smile.

Jet glanced at the girl, but turned to see where the girl was pointing. She pointed to the two girls in the water. The auburn-haired one pointed right back. Secret connection? Communication?
He watched as the boy ran straight for the girls, wrenching his little hands out of both his sister and the girl she called Xiala. Like it mattered.
However, Jet stared at the one blond girl with some brown streaks underneath. Her expression... She stood up straight-as much as she could in the water-staring at the boy in horror. He noticed the resemblance between them now.
What surprised him as Alison called out to watch out, was when the little boy jumped MONSTER-sized shadows swallowed him, the size of-well-the statue of liberty's hand, before he touched the water.
And still the girl stared.
