Oil painting? I didn't know that, but I wonder if painting (and other artistic endeavors) feeds into writing. Certainly enjoyed the dark brushstrokes in Chronicles of the Undead, and the vignettes, well-framed and haunting, in your shorter pieces.

It certainly helps with designing the covers. And I think it may give me a different perspective on describing things because I can look at things visually in terms of colours and form. I don't see blues, reds and yellows anymore; it's cerulean, crimson and lemon.

That would be me. I even wrote the book on it (well, a book, The Incomplete Guide to Action Movies).

UPDATE:
If things keep on schedule (fingers-crossed) I'll have two books debuting in October. First up will be the sequel to Killers and Demons. The new book, Killers and Demons II: They Return, is a thirteen story collection of horror and villainy (including the reprise of Balthazar from the first book).
And I also have a story appearing in Xchyler Publishing's new paranormal anthology (as yet untitled). That story, Grail Days, features my characters from Camelot (which some of you may remember from my story, Legendary Debts) in a modern day Grail Quest.
I'll also be looking for reviewers soon, as well as blog tour hosts, so if anyone's interested let me know.

I'll be sending out an email soon with all the dates, options and explanations about the tour and reviewing for Killers and Demons II. That launches Oct.4th, and any reviews won't have to be finished until then.
I'm not sure exactly when the anthology will be available for review; probably not until late Sept. or Oct.

Killers and Demons II is officially released on Oct 4th!
Evil is back, with a greater appetite for death.
Killers.
Demons.
They lurk forever in the shadows, smile at you in the morning, and haunt your dreams at night. You can’t hide, you can’t run, and there’s no escape. You can only scream when they come for you.
Killers and Demons II: They Return is a collection of thirteen tales, blending short stories and flash fiction, tales where the blood lingers on your tongue or spurts quickly from the swift cut.
And be sure to check out the Facebook party happening Oct 4th to celebrate: https://www.facebook.com/events/55561...
