52 Books in 52 Weeks (2011) discussion

Hi, I am quite new to Goodreads but have been doing my 52 book challenge this year. I have my own blog and hopefully will make some good and interesting friends here.

I don't think I will get to reading 52 books this year, but I have read more than any year and I partly thank Yasmine for that. Have fun. :D

Thanks Mohammed, I think its a fantastic thing to do to read lots of books. I like to write and hopefully by reading as much as possible I will become a better writer.

I'm actually catching up with my list this week while I'm on holiday. I was five books behind on Friday last. I'm kind of cheating by reading the Harry Potter books...not that I've read them before, just that they're incredibly fast reads. I'll be back on track by Monday! Hope you're getting on well with the site!

Hi Meg. That's a great idea, I have added a few quick reads along the way too ;) I have only read the first HP book but hope to read the others.

I just joined the group and have been participating in the 50 book challenge for a few years now. I have exceeded that number, but this year it seems I'm a bit slow. I'm 27 books along now and have 25 more books to read.
Don't know if I can do it but I will definitely try my best.
