It really depends. Because slaves were a sign of wealth, and it wasn't really considered bad. It's hard to say because honestly, you can't always put yourself in their shoes.

I would, but I would've payed them. It's just like workers that way.

I'm not northAmerican either but you're right, those were different times and we would have thought differeently.But here and now in this life,I wouldn't support slavery.My country has it's own history of slavery too

No even in those days. Because I grew up servants. I know how it is. Not slaves but servants. Not slaves. We would take care if them.

NO. Now, I know that's easy to say now being from today's world and everything... but at the same time, with my personality I just couldn't even picture myself with slaves. I don't believe in segregation, and I don't like people doing things for me. I'm a very do it yourself type of person, so yeah... I wouldn't want slaves.

Agreed. It's easy now to say, "No, I'd never do that because it's wrong." But throughout history people have had slaves and not thought it wrong. So, your attitude is based on modern enlightenment. The truth is that if you lived in those times, your social class and geographic location would have more influence than your personal opinion on the matter.

I live in the north. I think I would have been against it.
