I just started watching the TV series and it is good. This may seem like a stupid question but what does UNSUB stand for?

No, it's not a stupid question. It stands for UNknown SUBject, and they use it for the criminals when they don't know any name/nickname.

good series, solid writing albeit monotonous. gubler's character is interesting and they should've thought of a spin-off vehicle for him. i like rossi as well. rest are all ho-hum. the best guest star ever to have appeared would have to be, have to be Isabelle Murad.
