Almost all the time, whenever I'm not answering phones, reading, taking care of emails/notifications, etc. Music becomes a big part in it and my characters will work with whatever song I'm listening to (they sing and play the songs; if it's a fun, upbeat song they'll start dancing, if it's a rock song, they'll be fighting. Yes, music is very important to them).
Nice. What are your characters like? Mine are all shape-shifting deities (except they're a little more powerful than the gods and goddesses we're used to). They do interact with deities from our world as well. I'm redoing the whole pantheon of Greece/Rome, Japan, Egypt, Polynesia, and Mesopotamia, and I mean really redoing it. For instance, Venus loves Vulcan and their youngest son is Cupid (it made more sense to me that the god of fire would be the father of the god of passion rather than the god of war. Fire has always been associated with passion . . . duh). So, yeah, I'm committing a blasphemy by making the deities less like jerks and more like people with wisdom. ;D lol After all, I'm making them into what I would think a god or a goddess should be, not what we're used to. What songs did you listen to for those parts?

Cool!!My daydreaming is very much similar to yours in these matters. And when I listen to soft rock songs sang by Evanescence then usually they're very upset about something or they're in a serious situation. Most of the time I daydream about supernatural powers and stuff!:)

sometimes it's a song i heard in the radio, so I don't know the title for sure, but Evanescence is like Laurna use it and songs from Roxette in moments with love and... uhm, frankly, i forgot the rest :)

Sorry, those are my major characters, the very first ones I daydreamed about and as such are very near and dear to my heart. I have several different kinds of species, the vast majority of them are shape-shifters (so yes, werewolves too, though they're not exactly werewolves, they can change at will. The other two mammals are tigers and bears, all the rest are birds). There are also mermaids, fauns, centaurs, and nine different kinds of fairies (they're also nymphs, each kind of fairy is a different kind of nymph. i.e. butterfly fairies are flower nymphs while dragonfly fairies are sea nymphs. Had to work nymphs and fairies in some kind of way ;). Then there are the mythological creatures; dragons, unicorns, cockatrices, sea dragons, gryphons, senmurves (half dog, half bird-of-paradise), pterippi (winged horses), hippocapms (half horse, half fish), and perytons (half deer, half owl). They too can shape-shift, but into a smaller relative of theirs (dragons - lizards, sea dragons - snakes, hippocamps - dolphins, etc.). It's getting more and more complex by the day. :)
As for music, it's mainly classical (it runs in my head like it would in a movie). Yes, even OST's, one of the artists I listen to a lot from that genre is Two Steps From Hell, they have amazing music. It also depends on my mood and/or what I want to listen to. I will listen to a variety of songs from pop to rock. Artists I would usually listen to are Creed, Backstreet Boys, Nickelback, Linkin Park, Breaking Benjamin, Phil Collins, Cascada, Katie Perry, Celtic Woman, Enya, David Arkenstone, Evanescence . . . just to name the ones I can remember. lol I listen to a ton of different music, and I don't always listen to all of the music done by an artist (Backstreet Boys, Cascada, David Arkenstone, and Celtic Woman are the major ones that I will listen to all of their songs). Hmm . . . maybe I should write a story around a song (or more) to show you what I mean. It'll get interesting very fast. lol :D

Amy wrote: "P.S. I've started writing on that, I've only done an Introduction page right now, if you want to see what (and who) I've done. It's called The Musical Adventures of the Prodecti/Protectors. http://www.goodreads.com/story/show/2771...
Actual chapters with the songs will come later (once I figure out which songs I want to use first, there are so many I want to do!!!).
