My daydreaming is very much influenced by books of Nicholas sparks like.. A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks & The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks and the Harry Potter books!

Aurora (aurora_mandeville) | 53 comments Quite a few stories have influenced me, namely Beaut & the Beast, Cupid & Psyche (as well as all of the myths from Greece & Rome), Chronicles of Narnia, Peter Pan, Lord of the Rings, Land of Oz series, Treasure Island, and Charlie & the Chocolate Factory. Other books that have come into my life have also influenced me (like The Hunchback of Notre Dame and The Phantom of the Opera), but their influence isn't as big as those I've mentioned above.

Thanks for reminding me Amy that I need to add Lord of the Rings & Chronicles of Narnia to my list, which reminds me of another book which also deserves a very special place in my list- Anne of Green Gables !!:)

Aurora (aurora_mandeville) | 53 comments lol . . . no problem. My mom loves that series and Little House on the Prairie, unfortunately I couldn't really get into those stories (liked Anne better than Laura though), so they're not on my list. (though I'm beginning to wonder if it had anything to do with the fact that she kept wanting me to read them, and I like getting to books in my own time)

Tetsu (Doki Doki ~♥) (chintotheexperiment) | 18 comments Lately The Master and Margarita has been having effects on my daydreaming. Before that is was 2001: A Space Odyssey, and before that is was a Harry Potter. And then they start to mix together.

ooohh . . . nice list. :D I LOVE all things Peter Pan . . . my first (and still is, though it's now in a tie with LotR) favorite story of all time!!!! XD The Magic Tree House series are loads of fun!!

Sherlock Holmes . . . the greatest detective of all time, followed by Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple. :P ;D I do enjoy a good mystery, really got into the Boxcar Children, Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys series when I was growing up.

Which classics?

Hey, I also really got into Nancy Drew and Hardy boys at one time.I haven't yet started Sherlock Holmes . And when it comes to detective novels, I simply love Agatha Christie...!!:P

Aurora (aurora_mandeville) | 53 comments Agatha Christie's stories are amazing!!!! :D I have to get into the rest of her stories. We've seen quite a few of the Miss Marple and Hercule Poirot TV episodes.

Hey, I was wondering if anyone could help me out with finding a book? A friend recommended it to me and now I can't remember what it was called nor the name of the author (yeah, not much help, I know), but I do remember that it's about this society of shape-shifters who have to find a mate by a certain age (or time) or else they'll turn to the dark side . . . or something like that. :P :D I do believe the author was a male as well as the protagonist and that it is a series. I'm not sure about their relations with us "regular" humans, but I think they hide the fact that they can shape-shift. Would anybody know what it is?
