Mine was originally The Long Rain, but after re-reading this book numerous times I think I've switched to Kaleidoscope.

"The Long Rain"
also "No Particular Night or Morning" and "The Concrete Mixer"

I enjoyed all of the stories in this novel. Perhaps "The Long Rain" is the most disturbing in a way because it never stopped raining....
"The Veldt", "The Kaleidoscope", and "The City"
Loved them all though!

Kaleidoscope. The words escape me to explain how beautiful it is.
The Long Rain is also my number 2.
Can't decide what my third favorite is between The Fire Balloons, The Rocket Man, The Visitor and The Man... Oh, and The Exiles. So many good stories!

So many greats, but I'll have to go with "Kaleidoscope" and "The Last Night of the World".
Kaleidoscope, The Long Rain, The Veldt and the Rocket Man.
1. The Veldt
-I read this for the first time in class in 10th grade. It was the second Ray Bradbury story I ever read, after having read All Summer in a Day in 7th grade.
2. Marionettes, Inc.
-I really like this one. It's definitely still relevent today.
3. Zero Hour
-Just like The Veldt, I sort of love Ray Bradbury's stories with terrible little children, haha.
4. The Rocket Man
5. The Exiles

Same here. "The Last Night in the World" "The Veldt" and "The Other Foot" also gain my favor.

It's been too long since I read it--the one where Poe and the other writers are preparing, along with their creations, to fight the earthmen shipbound to Mars, but each time the last copy of their book is burned, they disappear. That was an awesome story. It stuck with me.
"The Veldt" was good too--I read that one with my middle schoolers every year.
This year we addedd "Zero Hour" and listened to the radio version. They enjoyed it a great deal.

I read The Illustrated Man 5 years ago. Kaleidoscope, The Veldt and The Long Rain are the stories that have stuck with me over the years.
I am reading this book in English for the first time. I read it three times in Spanish but it's a completly new book! "The Veldt" is simply amazing. "Kaleidoscope" - I felt myself going down in that long long fall. The story for tonight is "The Long Rain" - my favorite story in Spanish and I guess it'll be in English too!
This is a great collection of stories. It's hard to pick just one. I loved "Rocket Man", and "The Fox and the Forest", but the title story was my favourite.
I'm only half way in but thus far:
1. The Last Night of the World (had me in tears!!)
2. Kaleidoscope (I often wonder (and then wish I didn't) what it would feel like to just be floating away in space)
3. The Long Rain (I felt myself start to go insane with them)
4. The Veldt (that one just gave me shivers)

The Concrete Mixer is my all time favorite Ray Bradbury story. Long live Etil Verrick! ;)
"The Exiles". I loved them alll but the one I enjoyed the most was this one
Favorites "The Fox and the Forest", "marionettes Inc"', " The Veldt", "The Rocket", "The City". Sorry, couldn't pick one.

I have five favourites from this book but if I have to choose then Kaleidoscope is the one that moved me most of all.
Hm, maybe 'The City' or... 'The Rocket Man'.
Yet I still linger to choose 'The highway', even if it isn't as good as the other 2.
