Transformers: The First Official Roleplay discussion

I have a hunch how this roleplay's going to turn out.

Because I know how much you all positively love having to use your heads (haha. That was a good one, eh?) you may discuss/contribute to the main plot for the Generation One roleplay. Which is, by the way, not even a plot. It's just a little thingy to make it more interesting, and for the main plot to develop around. Yeah. Anyway...

In a nutshell, it's a bit like Maximum Ride. No! Wait. We're not going to have little Maxs-who-I-thought-were-male-for-the-first-ten-chapters running around. It's just the basic concept: genetically enhanced humans, probably with animal DNA. However, after careful deliberation, I have realised that it can get confusing and somewhat difficult to try and make everyone create new and essentially logical animal/human species. So I propose to you: in going along with the Maximum Ride concept, would you like to simply "borrow" the flock/bird idea? Or would you like to go along with the tedious task of creating your own?

I've never read Maximum Ride. :P But I'll go for whatever option is easier! I have a creative writing thing to do tonight and a Drama play to perform on Friday.

Aw sweetheart. How do you not know? Maximum Ride is a story based on a group of kids no older than fairly young teenagers who were taken from their homes at birth to be experimented on, altered to have DNA that is 98% human and 2% bird. It gives them wings, improved sight, etc. I think you'll get the general idea once we start roleplaying.

And with that, I vote Maximum Ride. Competition for the best animals, abilities, etc. ...not worth it. I believe your "careful" deliberation has paid off.

Maximum Ride. I'm not up for the immature drama choosing our own animals might bring.

'Cause everytime I heard about it I imagined a roller coaster ride at a carnival with some freak rebel angel as one of the characters. :P Don't ask. I never even bothered to read the back of the books.

When Silverbreeze and Unknown vote, Glomper. And possibly Yums. But I'm not entirely sure whether she'd want to join the roleplay or not.

Creating our own would be interesting. But I am going with Maximum Ride.

One question- which is more desirable? Multiple roleplay topics (Decepticon Base, Autobot Base, etc.) or keep it at one?

One? It might be easier with one. But if you do choose multiple, hun, I think you should only have a maximum of 3 roleplay topics.

:( Well, now I've just found out that there's a very high probability that I'm not going to the Expo, now. Why is it everything I get excited about, ends up being a no-go? It's like the DOTM DVD all over again...

Aw, I'm so sorry, hun! D: I honestly do feel bad for you- I'd be absoutely gutted myself. In fact, being the wuss I am, I'd probably cry. :3 It shouldn't be legal for that to happen.

Thanks guys. But it kinda doesn't change the fact I'm not going to meet some of my idols, and I'm probably not going to get another oppurtunity like this in a while. And you're telling me, Awesomely? I probably would be by now if there wasn't other people in the room, and if I'm still clinging on to some vain hope that it might go through. Though, of course, it's not. I think I know a lost cause when I see one.

I hate to figure out what that means. :P But I think the only thing that could cheer me up right now would be a Dark of the Moon DVD, the newest episode of Transformers: Prime, and the house all to myself. Three things that are not about to happen.
