Trey sat on a park bench waiting for Jam to come. He hoped she didn't want anything to unbelievable.
Trey heard Jam call his name. He looked up from the To kill a mocking bird he was reading. Jamie was with a girl in a poptart cat shirt. Trey snorted. He hated that video.
Safira trailed behind Jamie and saw her brother on a park bench. He's cute, but then again, Saf thinks every boy is cute these days. She chastised herself. How am I supposed to hate boys if they're my weakness? She shrugged off those stupid thoughts and just kept walking, until the two of them stopped in front of the guy. Saf stayed silent, looking anywhere but at his icy eyes. I hate myself.
Trey glanced at the girl standing next to Jamie. She was cute. "With what?" he asked without looking away from the girl.
Saf felt the guy, which Jamie called Trey, looking at her. Crap, she said, and tried to contain herself. Dear God, why does this happen with every gorgeous boy she sees? She tried to hide her flushing face and pulled her phone out, pretending to be occupied with it when she's really just tapping at a blank screen. She hoped he would look away.
"Trey." Jamie snapped her fingers in front of his face. "I'm up here." Trey averted his gaze. "We need you to get us into Death Song." Jamie explained.
Trey just stared at Jamie. She started glaring at him, so he answered. "Can I ask why?" He secretly hoped that the other girl would answer. Jamie tended to go all Reader's Digest on him, always giving him the long version.
Saf stayed quiet, still tapping at the phone screen. It took a while to realize the guy was talking to her. "Huh?" she said, and made the mistake of looking up. Those eyes, holy crap. They looked like Jamie's, but they still captivated her. "Oh umm..." she looked at Jamie, and then back at her brother. "There's this...guy who's umm...disguising himself as a Death Song assassin, or whatever. I don't know. Jamie could explain it better." Saffy looked away.
Jamie nodded. She always did tell it better. "His name is..." she looked at the paper. "It doesn't say. But he is disguised as a Death Song assassin, as Safira said. He is from enemy territory and appears to be looking for someone. You never know Trey, he could be looking for you." Jamie joked.
Trey groaned when Jamie started talking. He could tell the Nyan cat shirt girl was uneasy. Did he smell wierd. He hid smelled his shirt. He smelled fine. Trey faked laughed when Jamie said the assassin could be looking for him. "Harharhar, you are so funny. Why should I help you? You know you are capable of doing it yourself."
((You should put Jamie's and Trey's parts in the same post, Alex. Just in different paragraphs. If not, that's fine. Was just suggesting))Saffy started feeling self conscious. She found herself fixing her pink-streaked hair and the strap of her undershirt that's exposed on her right shoulder. She hoped Trey didn't notice, though she secretly wanted him to. She mentally slapped herself.
((Okay, that would be less confusing.))"But you are the inside help." Jamie pleaded. She stuck out her lower lip.
Trey didn't listen to Jamie. He was looking at Nyan cat girl fixing her hair and shoulder. Why can't he stop looking at her?! He forced himself to look at Jamie's blue eyes, the same as his. That calmed him down. "Jamie, do you know how much trouble I'll get in if I get caught?" Trey asked her.
"Uhh, Jamie," Safira said, her voice sounding a bit strained. "Is it okay if I walk around here? I won't be far, I just... I need to... Yeah."
Jamie looked at Safira. She looked pale. "Yeah, go ahead." Trey stared at a tree in the distance. Good, she was going. But, he was still sad she was leaving. "Don't let the pervs rape you." he said.
"Oh I'm not worried about that," Saf muttered. I'm worried I'd go insane if I stayed around you too long. She walked away from them, breathing a sigh of relief. She now realized that the main reason she hated boys wasn't because they were jerks. It was because they steal her heart so easily.
"Look what you did!" Jamie shouted when Safira was out of earshot. "What?" Trey said dumbly. "You made her run away." Jamie accused him. "Maybe because you look like a serial killer." she muttered. Trey sighed. He didn't mean to make her run away. He was just kidding. Jamie was muttering under her breath. "Don't let the pervs rape you? Are you freaking kidding me!?" Trey groaned and looked up at the sky. "You know what Jam? I'm leaving." He started to get up. "Oh no you don't. You are going to sit here and wait for Safira to come back like a good boy." Jamie pushed him down and sat on him to make Trey stay.
Safira heard the two yelling, and tensed when Trey said he was going, wondering if he was going to follow her. But then she quickly relaxed when she heard Jamie restrain him, and mentally said thanks to her.
Jamie sat on her brother while he tried to push her off. "Stop poking me!" she slapped his hand. "Then get off me so I can go back!" Trey poked her again. "No." she crossed her legs while Trey winced. Haha. "Jamie, I need to go." Trey pleaded for one last time. "No." she said stubbornly. Trey groaned loudly. A couple walking by stared at them. "What are you looking at?" Jamie and Trey snapped together. Trey didn't think he could stand to stay here any longer. Please Nyan cat girl hurry up.
Saf was still walking around, enjoying the fresh air around her. She didn't want to go back, not yet. She wanted several minutes to calm herself, to gather the strength. You can overcome this guy thing, Saf. After a few minutes, she breathed in and walked back towards the siblings. She saw Jamie on his lap and her eyes widened in shock. "What the hell are you two doing?"
"He tried to go back to Death song without us." Jamie explained. She quickly jumped in his lap. Trey grunted loudly. "Jamie, stop!" Trey yelled. "Not until you help us!" Jamie jumped again. Trey cursed loudly. Trey decided to give in. "Fine, fine! You win!" he shouted. Jamie scrambled off of him. "You can follow me back and pretend to be new recruits." Trey surrendered.
"Come on! Let's go!" Jamie shouted enthusiastically. ((did I spell that right?)) "Jam, Death Song people don't talk at all, so, I guess your SOL." Trey shrugged. "Liar." Jamie caught his bluff. Why wouldn't Nyan cat girl look at him? What did he do wrong? "Jamie, I'm not kidding." Okay, he was. "You, with the cat shirt, are you okay?" He asked Nyan cat girl because he couldn't stand it anymore.
Saf tensed. "I have a name, you know," she said softly. "Yeah, I'm fine." She sat on the empty park bench that was beside the one the siblings were sitting in, her eyes never once glancing at Trey.
"Ooookaayyy. Trey I already told you her name, Safira." Jamie snapped. Her brother is so rude. But, he was right. Saf looked sick. "Safira, if you don't want to do this today, we can wait until you feel better." Jamie suggested. Even though she wanted to do it now. Trey let out a sigh of relief. Maybe Safira would agree with Jamie. If he knew Jamie, and boy did he know her, he knew that she was squirming on the inside. Jamie hates to wait. Trey started to smile.
"I don't know...It's not that I'm sick, it's just..." she trailed off. She sighed and looked at Jamie. Her face was eager and impatient, and she didn't want to disappoint her. "It's fine. It's just these stupid feelings──" she said 'feelings' as if it were a bad word "──bugging me. It doesn't matter. We could do it today."
"Yay! I mean, okay. Let's do it now." Jamie said eagerly. "Wait, feelings? Are you scared to do this?" Jamie asked. That would explain her behavior.Trey surpressed a groan. He knew what she was saying when she said 'feelings'. Although, he didn't know if they were the same feelings. Safira didn't look like the type to get scared.
"No, I'm not." Hey Jamie, your brother is slowly tearing me apart because I'm cursed to fall for almost every boy I see. "Nevermind. Like I said, they don't matter." She smiled.
"Okay, let's do this!" Jamie started running to the Death Song building. She was so excited. Trey just stood there. He wondered how long it would take for Jamie to realize that she was going the wrong way and he wasn't following her. "I got ten bucks that its ten minutes before she realizes I'm not coming." Trey muttered more to himself than to Safira.
Saf couldn't help but giggle. She wanted to call for Jamie, but didn't. The fact that she was going the wrong way amused her. "I think it would be less than ten minutes," she said. She realized that she was now actually talking to Trey.
Jamie was on the streets of the city now. She looked around. "Come on guys, hurry up." She walked down the street. Trey laughed. "You never know with that girl." Trey sat back down on the bench. He patted the spot next to him for Safira to sit.
She sat, keeping a careful distance from Trey, but the feeling of him next to her made her tense, yet soothed her at the same time. "I like your sister," she said while smiling. "She's funny. At least when she doesn't try to be funny."
Jamie looked around the block. Trey and Safira weren't following her. She was going the wrong way. She stomped back to the park."Yeah, she is. But it gets old after you live with her for eighteen years." Trey agreed. He glanced at his watch. Five minutes have gone by. She had to know by now.
Safira peeked at Trey's watch. Five minutes. She looked back at where Jamie was and saw her trotting back angrily to the park. Saf chuckled. "I told you. Less than ten minutes."
Jamie saw the two sitting on a bench. "Why didn't you tell me!" she screamed. The two started laughing. "It was so damn funny!" Trey exclaimed. He dug in his pocket. "Here's your ten bucks." He handed it to Safira. "You bet on me?!?!" Jamie screamed. "I always do." Trey said in a comforting voice. "Now, do you want to complete your mission before the day ends or not?"
Safira gently pushed Trey's hand that held out the ten bucks. "No, it's fine. Keep them." She felt tingles when their skin touched, and pulled away a little too quickly.
"Fine, let's go." Jamie grumbled. She waited for them to get up first. She was still fuming with anger. "I insist. I made you a fair bet." Trey shoved the money into her hand. He walked away before she could do anything. "Jamie!" he shouted. "I'm coming!" she shouted back.
Saf accepted the money reluctantly, shoving them into the pocket of her jeans, and then silently went after the siblings, choosing to stay a little behind.((Would the mods be okay with us going into the Death Song building? xD))
((I don't know, I don't think they will mind. Its only for a while))Jamie grumbled the whole time. She was still not pleased with being bet on. "Wait, what do you mean, you bet on me all the time?" Jamie shouted. She ran to catch up with Trey.
"I bet on you all the time." Trey replied simply. He wasn't going further than that. "Safira, you better catch up if you don't want to lose us!" Trey shouted over his shoulder. Jamie smacked him. "OW." he said forcefully. "Don't push her." Jamie scolded.
Saf chuckled. "Relax, Jamie. Jeez. I'll be right behind you, don't worry."((Well alright then xD I hope so))
"Okay. Don't run away because you can't stand the sight of my ugly brother anymore." Jamie hit her twin again."Stop. Hitting. Me." Trey hissed. Jamie smiled. "I am not ugly!" Trey argued. Jamie just nodded. "Whatever." They were reaching the building.
((let's go into the training facility in Death Song.))
Jamie ran up to the bridge. She leaned over so most of her body was off the bridge. It was as amazing as she remembered. She grabbed the equiptment she left under a park bench, covered by leaves. They were still there. Jamie handed out the straps. "Okay, put these on and I'll explain the rules when we're done." "Saf, if I don't come back alive, just know that I like you more than Jamie!" Trey joked. Jamie stopped what she was doing and gave him a death glare.
Sienna put on the gear. "Just do your best to shorten the explanation, please," she joked, and she heard Trey laugh.Saf was sitting on one of the park benches, watching the three animatedly talk. She was eager to see them jump.
"Okay, so when you jump and near the water, remove the straps. Or, if your a sissy like Trey, don't and someone will pull you up." Jamie explained. "I'm not a sissy! I just value my life." Trey retorted. "I lived without an injury, didn't I?" Jamie snapped back. "You sure about that?" Trey muttered. Jamie glared at him again.
"Yep. Its not that shallow, so you won't hit your head. But, there's something your supposed to do when your down there." Jamie nodded for Trey to explain, since he came up with it. "I don't know if we should do that. Sienna's new to this." Trey said warily.
