Apollo walked up to the place where the Ravenclaw door should be.
"I hiss and slither along the ground,
besides that, I may not make a sound.
A look from me and you will be dead.
I fill Hogwarts with a sense of dread.

"A basilisk," he answered confidently. The door swung open and he walked inside.

Ethan sat in a chair, flipping through a large book

"Hello," he called out.

Ethan looked up, "Hey!"

"How's it going for you?" he asked.

Ethan nodded, "Pretty alright, you?"

"Can't complain," he said. He took a small box from his shoulder bag and took out a pumpkin pasty. "Homemade... would you like one?"

Ethan grinned, "Heck yeah! who made 'em?"

"Wingardium Leviosa," one floated over to him. "I did!"

Ethan caught the pumpkin pasty, "That cool! I've never tried making one." he said, taking a large bite

"It's not too hard really," he said as he replaced the box in his bag.

"These are awesome!" Ethan said, eating some more. "Oh my god"

"I'm glad you like them," Sam said. "Do you duel or play Quidditch?"

"Quidditch. Dueling's ok, but it's not really my thing. You?" Ethan said

He pulled out his beater stick, "Beater, and I'm a defensive dueler. I create distractions."

Ethan nodded, impressed, "That's cool. what type of distractions?"

"I'll show you," he said as he took out his wand. "Would you like to quickly duel a little?"

Ethan shrugged, "I have to say, I pretty much stink, but sure" He said, grabbing his wand and standing up

"Wands at the ready," he said pointing his towards Ethan.

Ethan did the same, tense

"Start!" he shouted. "Fumuscus."
Black smoke billowed out from his wand and hid him from view.
"Muffliato," he shouted so that Ethan couldn't hear his spells.

Ethan tried to see through the fog but couldnt, wildly he threw spells but couldn't hit anything

"Avis, Serpensortium," he whispered. Snakes and ravens burst forth from his wand, but they stayed hidden. A spell hit a raven. "How dare you? Oppugno!"
The animals eyes turned red and they burst forth from the smoke at Ethan.

"Bombarda." He said quickly, the birds blowing up. "wow." he muttered, glad he remembered that

"Carpe Retractum!" he shouted latching a rope around Ethan's ankle. He pulled back in order to trip him up. The snakes kept going and were almost upon him.

Ethan was able to stay standing, but barely, hurridly, he flourished his wand at the snakes, "Duro!" he called, the snakes turning to stone

"Langlock!" that should glue his mouth shut so he can't cast spells. "Expelliarmus!"

Ethan cursed in his head, unable to say anything out loud as his wand flew from his grip

"Petrificus Totalus!" the body-bind charm.

Ethan couldn't move, he fell over

"And I think that's match. Finite Incantatem!" All the spells cast reversed themselves and disappeared.

Ethan groaned, "Dude, that was evil."

"Yes, but I stopped in time, didn't I?" he said jokingly. "Here, let me give you something for any pain quick."
He popped out a small grey vial, "Drink this. It's Wiggenweld Potion."

Ethan shrugged, "Bottoms up." He muttered, drinking the vial

Matt walked in hlding Peyton's hand

Peyton layed on the couch exhausted, but watching matt

Matt moved to the table, looking through some books

"sorry matt" she yawned again

He turned to her, "WHy?"

"I'm just exhausted so I'm about to fall asleep..." she laughed a little

He smiled, "It's alright. Today was long."

"come here" she asked him

He grinned, heading to her

She pulled his shirt down to her smiling

Matt chuckled, pulling his face close to hers, "Yes?"

She wrapped her arms around him pulling him till there lips met

Matt grinned, kissing her deeply
