Beau walked along the stream.

Brianna sat on the edge of a rock and pushed her pant legs up. She threw her shoes off and put her legs in.

Beau threw his gloves over head and started skipping rocks.

A rock landed right by Brianna's leg, making her yelp. She looked up and saw someone on the other side of the stream, throwing rocks. "Hey!" she yelled.

Beau looked at her and held up his hands in surrender. "Sorry!" he called back with the hint of a smile.

Brianna narrowed her eyes at him. "Watch what you're doing," she mumbled, going back to looking at the water.

Beau grinned and continued to skip rocks, accidentally hitting her again.

Bree stood up and grabbed her shoe, chucking it at him. "Did you not hear me the first time?!" she yelled.

Beau dodged it with a smile. "The rocks do as they please."

"That is the most lame ass exuse for trying to get a girl's attention," Bree rolled her eyes.

Beau put his hands on his hips. "Can a man ever just skip stones without ever being accused of flirting?"

Bree glared at him. "No. You hit me- twice. Now give me my shoe back."

Matt in wolf form walked along the stream,with dreamer following.

"Its not my fault rocks fly off the water wrong." Beau said and tossed her the shoe.

Bree caught her shoe and slipped it back on. "Suuure, it wasn't on purpose at all," she said sarcastically.

Still with a drenched, dark hood which reached her ankles, Luce knelt besides the rushing water, still humming a soft tune under her breath. It was barely audioable, but Leo could hear it. They had managed to find a spot away from everyone else. Luce placed her now extreamly pale fingers into the water, trying to remember what it felt like whithout any blood.
It was colder, of course. And just that touch sent chills up the girl's spine. She pulled her fingers back and leaned against one of the rocks besides the water. Leo would have asked her if she wanted to eat... But that would have been a mistake and he knew it.
"We should get moving."
He mumbled finally, mostly to break the akward silence which hung around the sound of gushing water.
"I know."
Luce replied, pushing herself up again. Her fingers went over her head and grabbed the tip of the hood, pulling it back over her hair. But someone elses fingers stopped her.
"Luce, the thing's drenched. If you're cold then we'll use something else."
She frowned, but did as Leo had suggested and let the hood fall back behind her shoulders.
"Thank you."
Leo murmered. They both started walking off into the vegitation nerby. Not really wanting to go on with this topic, Luce asked,
"Where is this place again?"
"Relax. We're almost there. It's not some made up fantasy world."
"And it's going to get us what we need?"
"Yes, Luce."
Leo was tired of repeating the same thing. There was an akward pause, then Leo spoke again.
"How's the cut?"
Luce hesitated before glancing down to her wrist. A patch of rough skin sliced across the flesh. Not red, like a normal scar would be. But white, because there was no blood to make up the red colour.
"Fine."
She answered curtly. Really, it was not fine. It was burning like crazy. As if someone or something was biting into her flesh. Knawing and knawing, refusing to stop until it reached the bone.
Luce let out a sigh.
"Besides, I've had worse and you know it."
Leo nodded in responce.
"Too true."
He grinned.
"Way too true."

Thalia walked along the stream.

Clyde picked his way through the stream, not that he needed to. As he walked the water froze enough to support his weight. He spotted Thalia walking along the stream. "Thalia," he called.

Thalia turned her head when she heard her name then spotted Clyde. Her face broke out it a smile as she walked over.

Clyde strode over to Thalia, grinning. "How have you been, love," he inquired, kissing her softly.

Thalia kissed him back, then answered "Ive been fine. And you?"

Matt passed Thalia and Clyde"gross,get a room"He thought.

Ouida walked down to the stream, finding the sound of the water running over the stones peaceful.

Valkyrie walked down to the stream, sitting down on a boulder and looking over the edge.

Ouida glanced up as Valkyrie came to the stream and then returned to watching the water washing over the stones, smoothing them, shaping them.

Valkyrie looked over at Ouida, wondering if she was dangerous or not.

Ouida bent down to the water, cupping her hands beneath it's surface and lifting them to her lips, drinking the fresh, cool liquid.

"Ouida is it?"Valkyrie asked standing up."can I trust you?"

"How do you know my name and what is it that needs to be trusted?" Ouida asked, turning to Valkyrie as she stood up. "I've always known to put your trust in few and be careful of those few. Tell them only the things that they need to know, do not trust them with all."

Valkyrie smiled."I just guess, probability and stuff."she said folding her hands behind her back."not for secrets, I just don't want to be attacked by some psycho again."

"Ah, I found a way to deal with them," Ouida nodded. "Makes them putty in your hands," she grinned.

"what do you mean?" Valkyrie asked

"A psycho tried to torture me earlier, I thought of ways to fight him, but found that flirting confused him enough to make him leave me alone," Ouida explained.

Valkyrie laughed a little."I don't know how to flirt...as you say."

"Well I didn't think I knew how either," Ouida laughed.

"who attacked you?" Val. Asked

"Some guy called Devon," Ouida shrugged.

"Okay, I found out my sister will be staying here for an extended visit while my parents make preparations for Christmas," Clyde replied, "Speaking of which, what would you like for Christmas?"

"Ah, that should be pleasant." Thalia said. "Also anything you would get me, Im sure it would be splendid.'

Clyde smiled, "Then, you will be more than surprised by my gift."

Thalia smiled back. "I bet I will. And I do have to get you a gift as well. What would you like?"
