What did you think of the Poison Study audiobook? Is it any good?

Hi Mad Scientist! Sorry for the delay in answering but I have been traveling and just got a chance to look at your posts. I have an iPhone and I use the app Audible.com to download and listen to audiobooks. They also have apps for Android as well.

I really enjoyed the Poison study on audiobook! It is a very entertaining book and fun! I highly recommend it!

I use audible.com as well. I just started to use it.

I was wondering how you were able to read so many audiobooks...I work in a production plant as a supervisor so if I have only one line running I work in the office a lot and am able to get some listening in. But that is only maybe one day a week if the lines aren't behind.

Factory work can be so much fun & so boring the next day. A few of my favorite jobs has been in factories or at least bc of the people!

Yeah I work in Accounts Payable so I sit in an office all day and push paper around. My company has a pretty relaxed atmosphere so I can listen all day while I work! I love it! Listening keeps the work from getting boring!

i work on a computer all day and my workspace is ridiculously quiet and yet extremely loud at the same time, if that makes sense...so I get those playaway devices from the library, or upload audiobooks to my amazon cloud to listen to...can't have the ipod at work because of security reasons

Are the Anita Blake books good in audio. I have been away from the series so long I think I want to listen to them to catch up. I have been an audible member since they started. I love them.

I am enjoying the Blake series in audiobook form. They really get into and add sound effects and music during the fighting scenes, for example if she fires her gun they will add the sound effecr of a gun going off. It is one if the nowt interactive series I have listened too. And they use the sound effects just the right amount and don't go overboard with it.

I have a question about audible.com, how exactly does it work?

Well Erin if you become a member you basically can get up to two books a month for subscribing. They give you credits to redeem those books. So for instance I pay $22.95 a month and get two credits= 2 books. I pick any two books and then I download them to the Audible app I have on my Android phone. Then I listen to it while I am work!
