Banned and Challenged Books discussion

I think this book was pretty good. There were a few slow parts, but overall it was pretty interesting. I liked the ideas presented and the way they were presented.

I thought that this one was really....creepy. I don't think that being spied on by the government is really "sci-fi", especially given the technology that we have. When we think about how often we are filmed by stores, traffic cams, etc... our grocery cards are scanned, our purchases tracked, our computers and credit cards leaving little cyber-trails, its crazy! I found the book to be frightening, and to be abducted because you spoke negatively of the government, well that is happening in countries already, and I believe the term for it is "treason". Creepy book. The sad part was how the two people turned on each other, but I think that is a base part of human nature, to protect yourself at all costs.
