2025 Big Book Challenge discussion

I'm very much looking forward to this challenge, I have a number of books I'd like to get to that I seem to keep putting off.

I WANT to read the following:







We'll see what I get done, I'll list them as I finish my books here.

I finished my first Big Book. It was:

Dance of Death - Preston/Child 560 pages

I love the Pendergast series by Preston and Child. I also loved The Passage (very gripping and a definite page turner).

Thanks Mel. I too love the Pendergast series and am really anxious to get to The Passage. Hopefully soon. :)

I've finished my 2nd Big Book:

11/22/63 - Stephen King 849 pages

#3. The Invention of Hugo Cabret 511 pages.

This was a YA book and had a lot of pictures but the story was good, I'm looking forward to seeing the movie now.

#4. The Last Coyote - Michael Connelly 408 pages.

#5. The Lincoln Lawyer - Michael Connelly 508 pages

Still not from my list above. : )

#6. What the Dog Saw - Malcolm Gladwell 410 pages!

Finally finished another big book but it wasn't on my list.

#7. The Midwife's Confession - Diane Chamberlain 417 pages.

#8. Sing You Home - Jodi Picoult 466 pages

#9. Trunk Music - Michael Connelly 427 pages

#10. John Saturnall's Feast - Lawrence Norfolk 405pages


Still only 1 book from my beginning list! LOL

#11. Fifty Shades Darker - E L James 532 pages

#12. Angel's Flight - Michael Connelly 472 pages

#13. A Time-Travel Christmas - Megan Daniel, Vivian Knight-Jenkins, Eugenia Riley and Flora Speer - 443 pages.

Well, I only read one of the books out of 5 that I'd hoped to read but on the good side, I read 13 BIG books!

We'll see if I get to some of the others next year. : )
