Topaz opened her eyes and knew that she should get up but dind not want to. She had been having such a wonderful dream. as she lay there she tried to call it back to her memory but couldn't. BEEP!! BEEP!! BEEP!! "Okay you stupid alarm i'm getting up." She groaned. "When i get home i'm throwing you across the room." She smacked it then. The fact that she was talking to her alarm should be a sign that she should go to school, but she turned over and went back to sleep.

Adam walked to the school wondering if he would like it here

"Of course i'm late!!" Topaz muttered to herself as she slunk thourgh the rain. She hadn't had time to find her keys.

While Adam was walking to the school he saw someone else walking he caught up with her "hi" he said

Topaz jumped and screamed when the boy came up next to her.

"oh sorry about that by the way my names Adam" said Adam trying to suppress a laugh

Topaz looked into the face of the beautful boy. "I'm just a little jumpy person." she said breathlessly. "I'm fairlen topaz." She said without thinking. Not that she could even if she had wanted to.

"wow interesting name" said Adam

Topaz went bright red bit her lip and squealed in embrassment. "I ment Topaz Fairlen." She went brighter red at her name. If her mother had not instited on naming her after a gem stone and her father not insitted on giving her a name that started with a T they never would have named her topaz.

"oh okay that sounds better i like that name" said Adam

"Oh. Me too." She lied quickly. "It was my mom idea to name me after a jem stone amd my dad wanted a guy with a t name but got me and so they agreed that topaz was a good name."

"really? well I like gemstones" said Adam

"Me too." Topaz said. Stupid stupid stupid. She thought. Don't agree with every thing he says he'll think you're werid...Not that you aren't

"Wow thats interesting" said Adam once again trying hard not to laugh

"What's intresting?"

"how we both like the same things" he said

"Oh yeah! Isn't it funny?" She laughed.

"yeah it is" said Adam

"Well i had better get to english." Bye.

"english? wow thats where my class is too" said Adam

"Cool! I'll show you the way."

"alright thanks" said Adam

"No problem!"

Adam followed Topaz to the english building thinking about what assignment they would do probably one he had already done before

"Your homework tonight is to write a five page esay on wither or not you think William shakespear was gay." THe teacher paused. "Did i just say five page? I meant a paragraph." HE smiled and the whole class started to laugh.

Adam thought this was very funny he knew this would be easy for him seeing as he was old enough to know the guy

"I don't think he was. HE was just interested in money."

"or in writing his plays" said Adam

"That to. What's your next class?"

"science i think" said Adam

"Cool! Another class together. You'll have to sit next to me."

"okay than" said Adam

Why am i such an idiot around him? Topaz thought going slightly pink.

Adam didnt know what she was thinking because he didnt have that power but he could have guessed it from the look on her face he tried to hide a laugh>

Topaz went brighter red. "Stop laughing at me." She halfed laughed half wailed. She knew she was being stupid.

"im not laughing at you im laughing with you" said Adam

"Are you flirting with me?" Topaz asked.

"no just talking" said Adam
