This place is abandoned and it's been turned into a training ground and play house for the children.

Everyone files in and began teaming up. They scattered in all directions, carrying a variety of maces, axes, and more.

MC pulled Malcum along behind her, an axe in hand.

Malcum looked at her."great...I have no idea what to do.."

"Just run and cover me," MC instructed. Jules rounded the corner, swinging a heavy sword at MC before turning and running back the way he came.

Malcum looked over his shoulder."I don't have any weapon though."

MC stopped and handed him the axe. Lilith came barreling forward, clinging to MC, who cursed softly. She lifted the child up and carried her as she ran.

Malcum followed her, holding the axe steadily.

There was a loud chime as a bell rang. Doors opened and creatures scurried out.

Malcum ran behind MC."shit shit shit.."

Lilith covered her ears. "Bad words!"

MC rolled her eyes, jumping over a large snake like a hurtle.

Malcum jumped after her."sorry lilth."he said guilty.

Ca slithered out of a room, Con following. They lifted their heads and hissed.
((Just so you know, they're a snake with a head on each end))

MC swerved around a corner, avoiding Ca and Con.

((wow!awesome!))

Malcum flipped over them, accidentally stepping on their tail.

((No tail, just heads))
Ca and Con hissed, snapping at Malcum.

MC muttered a sorry as they slithered off, Con's head glaring daggers as they went.

Malcum shivered."who are we running from anyway?"

"The people who win every year: Keri, Klux, and Zeke," MC replied, "And they're right behind us."

Keri and Klux were running hand in hand down the hall behind them, Zeke trailing behind with Jinx. "Five down already," they sang. Keri threw her made at Malcum, hitting him in the back.

Zeke nodded. "Yes, we've won almost every year."

"You don't have to," Zeke replied.

"Or, I can split from the twins," Zeke offered, "And Jayden can take Keri."

Keri glared at Zeke.

"We're not killing, remember," Zeke reminded them, "Just knocking out."

"Now's not the time," Keri and Klux stated, "We have a game to win."

"Fine! Bring it on!"

Klux glanced at Keri.

((Then, bring him to the family! He'll enjoy himself! Lol))

"Guess who's been since they were 8? Me bitch," Keri stated, "I can handle whatever shit you got in store."

Malcum fell over, "MC!"he called. jumping up to his feet.

MC stopped for a moment, turning back. "You okay? Break anything?"

Malcum shook his head."nope maybe some fractures, you're family is wild."

MC shrugged. "All is fair in war for us," she said. She glanced at Keri and snapped. The ground shook and split between her legs as she struggled to keep from falling in.

Maclum moved next to her."we won't die right?"

"No, but we may end up hospitalized," MC replied, running again.

"fun.."Malcum mumbled."where next?"

"Let's head for the basement. We'll wait until they finah getting everyone else," MC responded. She turned and ran down a few flight of stairs, the light fading as she went.

Malcum nodded following her, maybe then he could finally redeem himself.

MC stopped at the basement door, looking back to see anyone had followed. She pulled open the door and rushed through the darkness.

Malcum walked in behind her,grabbing a lantern."how big is this estate anyway?"

"Very big. Ma and Da have a major house as well as a warehouse on these grounds. And there's a graveyard. Plus, the coffin store we put in," MC listed, "I got my coffin there."

Malcum nodded.."how pleasant."he said looking around.

MC set Lilith down and felt around for something to sit on.

Malcum found a chair and offered it to her.

"Thanks," MC murmured, sitting. She glanced up at Malcum. "So?"

"so.. are you feeling better?"Malcum asked.

MC shrugged. "Yeah, I guess," she replied softly.

"do you still hate me?"Malcum asked.

"I never said I hated you," MC stated.

"well what do you feel about me?"Malcum asked.

"Definitely not hate, but not really love any more. Something else," MC replied, brows furrowed.

Malcum frowned."I suppose I deserve that."

"Yes, you do," MC agreed, "But, I still care."

"and I still love you."Malcum added.

MC smiled. "That's nice."
