I read two non-fiction books I really loved (but not environment related):Does the Noise in My Head Bother You?
Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption
They don't have to be non-fiction books, those are just the ones I read. All genres are welcome. Those both look interesting, something different from my usual readings.

I stole this idea from the Science group, but I liked it a lot. Which books did you guys read this year that you really enjoyed? Preferably within the theme of the group, but if you wanted to mention a couple others from other genres, that's cool too. It doesn't have to be books we read or talked about here, just interested to hear what was good in 2011!
I'll start:
The Post Carbon Reader: Managing the 21st Century's Sustainability Crises
1493: Uncovering the New World Columbus Created
Pandora's Locks: The Opening of the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway
The Flooded Earth: Our Future In a World Without Ice Caps
Great Lakes Journey: A New Look at America's Freshwater Coast
Dry Run: Preventing the Next Urban Water Crisis
Off topic ones:
How I Killed Pluto and Why It Had It Coming
Strange New Worlds: The Search for Alien Planets and Life beyond Our Solar System
Cascadia's Fault
