Quinetta skipped through the large gate, ringing the front doorbell. "QUENTIN!!!" she yelled.

Aoife wandered through the large gate,watching someone ring.

"Stop yelling, he can hear you. He just chooses to ignore you." Lacie said as she sat on the porch's swing.

Quinetta looked at her. "But I made him a present," she said sadly, wondering why Lacie was so mean.

Lacie rolled her eyes. "What did you knit him this time? A hat? Please, its not like he ever wears them. Quit wasting your time and do something productive."

Aoife just watched,knowing that was her twin.

(( Lacie got attacked by Shia and almost died so shes in a bit of a bad mood :P ))

"I didn't knit it! And he loves my presents. It's nice, okay? Don't be so mean!" Quinetta pulled the door open and ran in, her eyes teared up.

((When? When I probably wasn't around though.And that explains it.))

Aoife glared at her.

Lacie shook her head. "She needs to toughen up or somethings going to happen to her." she said, her face darkening. She needed to protect her family at all costs and if being mean will toughen them up then so be it.

((Wait does the rest of the family know?))

Quinetta knocked on her older brother's door. "Quentin?" she asked quietly. "I made you something... and Lacie is being mean again!"

(( Nope! It happened awhile ago and she didnt tell anyone (seeing as how we just made the family today XD ) cause she doesnt like showing weakness. ))

"No, it does." Lacie said, her tone slightly harsh. "Do you want to be responsible for them getting hurt just because we didnt educate them correctly? This place is dangerous! There are killers everywhere and she cries just because I tell her to do something productive? How long do u thing she will survive out there like that! Zero!" she shouted the last part, her face red.

Quinetta sighed, realizing he wasn't there. She walked outside, her head hung low with her hair falling into her face as she wandered to their apple tree.

"Ok...you are right." she said resigninly."Most people need to be raised that way."

"Then do something about it. Its not like she listens to me anyway." Lacie sighed heavily, blinking back tears as she rubbed her skin. The burns were still healing.

Quinetta stopped skipping when she felt extreme negative feelings coming from somewhere.
Lacie, she sighed. she was still mad at her, but she walked over anyway, sitting down next to her.

"Wha'swrong?" she asked, laying her head on her sister's shoulder.

Lacies lip started to quiver, but she bit down on it. ""Nothing." she said, patting Quinetta's head. "Everything's fine." she said, her eyes distant.

"I wish I could.Some people don't change."

Quinetta looked up at her. "No it's not," she said, looking at her arm. She could see the faint burns.

"Thats true, but sometimes you need to use force to save someones life." she said, knowing that Quinetta didnt know they were talking about her.

"That's true for a lot of people." she said sighing.

Quinetta looked worried. "You need to save someone's life? Who's dying? Why??"

Lacie pulled down her sleeve quickly. "Its nothing, just burned myself while cooking."

Lucy drifted through the gates and up to the porch. She leaned against the beam, eyes flickering from the three already there, but said nothing, not wanting to interuppt.

"You sure?" Nettie frowned.

Lacie nodded. "Yeah, and no ones dying. At least not someone we know anyway." she said, thinking about all his victims. She shook her head, erasing the images. "You have nothing to worry about."

Quinetta nodded and that sat up. "Lucy!" she caleld, seeing her. She waved, smiling happily.

"That's good to know." she looked around."Hi Lucy!" she called also waving.

((now I feel like a third wheel.))

Lucy smiled and flitted over to them, "Hi guys," she said happily, "What ya' talkin' about?" she asked, rocking back onto her heels and slipping her hands into her pockets.

Lacie turned her head in the direction that Nettie was looking to. "You really need to stop eavesdropping, you know."

Nettie rolled her eyes. "Lucy wasn't eavesdropping, she was nervous!" she said.

"Whats there to be nervous about?" Lacie said, not believing how abnormal her family was.

Lucy shook her head, "No, no, no. I wasn't nervous." she said lightly. "I just didn't want to be rude." she corrected, tilting her head.

"She didn't want to interrupt," Quinetta shrugged. "And also, we're not abnormal!"

"I really don't know." she said to Lacie.

Lacie frowned at Quinetta. "Didnt I tell you to stop doing that? Its an invasion of privacy." she said.

Lucy's gaze flickered to Lacie. "Even so, by calling us abnormal you're insulting yourself." she pointed out. "Thats not exactly a good thing."

"Sorry!" Quinetta squeaked. "I can't help it. I know these things before I even think about them. It's like, breathing."

"I never said it wasn't nor did I say I wasn't normal. In fact I didnt say anything at all." she said and glared at Nettie. "And learn to control it before you say something to someone not so forgiving as me."

Nettie shrunk back under her glare. I can't help it! she thought, looking away. She hated it when Lacie was mean like this. She always did it for no reason!

"Ok...This has gotten...awkward.I'm going inside." she said getting up.

Lucy frowned a bit, her eyes soft as she watched the two. Her eyes flicked to Aoife as she stood, but she didn't say anything, and looked away. "Cant you two just get along for the sake of it?" she asked quietly.
