Felix, sat eye level with the three books he was reading. He turned the pages every so often, then closed one. He looked up when he heard the door to the Library open.
Grace stepped through the doors she was told to and gaped at the vast amount of books and knowledge on each shelf. It was beautiful and amazing at the same time, that humans could care and consume such things from memory.
Felix, or rather his body, stood and lifted his head from the table. "Is there something you need, miss," he inquired, "Lovely, I now. I worked hard to keep it all orderly." He smiled, looking the girl over. "I don't believe we've met before."
Grace jumped, holding her breath from being startled before letting it out realising it was a human boy talking. "Non monsieur." She began realising she was going into a different language yet again. "I mean no but thank you. I was just leaving the way I was told, when I walked into the library. You have done a magnificent job I might add. And no you wouldn't have met me." She said matter-of-factly, finding him to be a curious human.
((Just to be clear: he's headless. Okay? Okay.))
Felix nodded. "There is a way out, but it takes a while and it's easy to get lost here," he stated, "I'll escort you to the gates."
Felix nodded. "There is a way out, but it takes a while and it's easy to get lost here," he stated, "I'll escort you to the gates."
(( Omg really!? Cool! How is he talking then? lol )) Grace smiled kindly. "That would be lovely. Thank you." She said as she admired the library.
((He's magical~ that's how he's talking lol))
Felix turned, walking down the long hall. "There's no need for thanks. It's a precaution," he said, "Don't want anymore visitors being eaten by the dogs."

(( lol ok )) Grace looked at him confused. "What dogs? I can't feel them." She said as she walked with him, brushing her hands across the shelves softly.
"They're Hellhounds," Felix replied, "Asteria got them as a defense for future invasions of the Manor."
Grace bristled at the mention of hell hounds. "Oh I see that would explain it." She said. "How do you keep such books?" She asked curiously.
"They're preserved with ice, then chiseled out," Felix explained, "They're actually all still in ice; it's just a thing flexible layer."
Grace nodded as she felt a slight chill emanating from the books. It was a ver ingenious idea. "How interesting." She mused as they walked.
Grace looked at the dead end before noticing he had disappeared to the left. She quickly picked up her pace to catch up with him, not wanting to get lost.
Felix smiled faintly, glancing back at her. "Alright," he inquired, making a right this time. They cam to a door and he pushed it open, revealing the winding path that ran through the gardens.
Grace nodded and gave a slight smile. "Yes thank you." She said as he lead her. She peeked out the door wondering if she was allowed through. "May I?"
