The Academy of Mystical Beings discussion

Deacon, Tegan, and Hallie appeared in the living room. Deacon let go of them and went to stand by the window, his back to them as he looked out at the trees.

Hallie went to sit on one of the dark leather chesterfield sofas.

Tegan stood where he was, crossing his arms."any reason why you brought me?"he demanded.

"Because you're the one that she latched onto," Deacon answered, unmoving.

"Sorry, Tegan," Hallie apologised. "It's a bit of a long story..."

Tegan frowned."I'm obviously not going anywhere.. so tell me."

((i'm trying to keep it half-open, if you see what i mean, so as to have adaption room depending on everything else, etc.
but basically, my big twist is starting... i think... ))

"We all answer to something, someone, and no one is an exception to that," Deacon stated, turning to face them. "The person that we answer to said it would be best for Hallie, here, to be in our family."

"But in order for me to be in your family, I needed to find a way in which to be brought in. So, I figured hanging around long enough for some sort of meeting to take place for me to get into would do the trick," Hallie continued.

((for the mondos? or the de loons? or both -.0?))

Tegan just listened still unsure about all this.

((not thinking big enough...))

"Although out of everyone, why she choose to stick around with you I have no idea," Deacon shook his head slightly.

"yeah me either."Tegan scoffed.

but mainly the Mondos and De Loons, seeing as that's where i've got most and my plan stemmed from))

"Because like it or not, his loneness means that people will go to him, because deep down he will care, even if he doesn't want to show it," Hallie answered. "What better way to certify a way in?"

Tegan rolled his eyes."like i said, don't act like you know me."

"Well, one thing still stands, I want to know you," Hallie stated.

"Tegan, you understand that you're not to say a word of this to any of the others," Deacon told him.

"If you tell the wrong people, then things will go very badly, for you, for them, and for all of us," Deacon told him firmly. "I'm not going to make you do anything, it's just better that this stays quiet."

"What would persuade you to not say anything?" Hallie asked. "Not as threat, or anything like that. But just some sort of act."

Tegan shook his head."I'm going back now."he said.

"And your cover for such a mysterious absence is...?" Deacon raised an eyebrow at him.

I'm going to bed, night *yawns sleepily* it's been a long day...))

"I was simply having some family bonding."Tegan said dryly, walking out.

Deacon rolled his eyes, but didn't say anything as he left.

Sung-Sun shook her head as slithered from place to the next, searching intently. "No, sweetie."

Sung-Sun followed her gaze, brows furrowed. "I think," she murmured in response.

Sung-Sun regarded the stairs curiously. "I shall go first," she stated, already climbing up to peer inside.
