YES. It's a good book. You should definitely read it. :)
I thought it was okay, it was a little weird reading it as a teen, though, since the girls were actually really old ladies.
It was a good book. I've read it twice, and it's been very good both times. I like the author. Check out some of her other books too.
This was actually the first book I had read by that author...do all if her books go back and forth in time like Turnabout?
No, this is the only one I've read that deals with time and such other than her Missing series (first book is called Found). They are all kind of science fictiony, but they're all different.

I had read the very beginning of her Missing series (and I mean the VERY beginning) and sort of knew what it was about...anyway, thanks for answering my question. :)
I'm just really starting to get into Science Fiction...actually, I'm more of a historical fiction buff. But if you could give me some recommendations, that would be great!
If you like the combination of historical fiction and science fiction, I would try the TimeRiders series by Alex Scarrow. It's time travel, in case the title wasn't obvious. The time travel genre has some good books that combine historical fiction and science fiction. There's also The Map of Time, but it's got some adult content in it.

But if you could give me some recommendations, that would be great!"How old are you? Or what age level books do you read? And what's your fav. time period? I have too many books to put down but if you narrow it down I can give a few suggestions.
I'm in middle school, but I read more like at a high school level...I don't really know what my favorite time period is, so any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you!
I'm a teen and when I was in middle school I was reading harder books than my level too...Let's see, I like Gideon the Cutpurse, a little more for younger kids (early middle school) but I LOVE it! Historical and sci-fi.
I bought TimeRiders a few months ago, but haven't read it. Glad to hear that Aurora likes it.
Happenstance Found is pretty good, it's more fantasy.
The Higher Institute of Villainous Education is good, it's about kids that get kidnapped and taken to an island where they're trained to become villains. That sounds corny, but it's high-tech and funny.
Michael Vey: The Prisoner of Cell 25 is good, but the second book doesn't come out until August. It's a little bit super-heroe-y and sci-fi.
Simon Bloom, The Gravity Keeper is a largely undiscovered geared-towards-middle-schoolers book similar to Michael Vey in concept.
Another book written for slightly younger (middle school) kids is Pierdomenico Baccalario's Ulysses Moore series- the first is The Door To Time. They're easy reads, and the first book mostly sets up the action, though it's got some fun clue-solving bits. The second book is more historical because of time travel.
I could go on, but I shall stop myself. Those are just some of my favourite kids'/young adult books. Let me know if you want more suggestions.
Thanks for the suggestions! It's hard to find books sometimes, because I'm not into the Vampire books or graphic novels, and that's what a lot of people read, so that's what you tend to find in the teen/young adult sections at libraries and bookstores. Anyway, I am definitely going to read The Higher Institute of Villainous Education. I love quirky ideas for books like that! Now, I shall go check my school's library's webpage to see if they have these....
I will vouch that HIVE, Michael Vey and Simon Bloom are all very good books. I've read all of the books out thus far in each series, and I love all of them.
I don't like the vampire books , or most of the paranormal romance, and I'm not into graphic novels either. I love adventure, spies, outlaws, historical fiction, fantasy, and science fiction.

I did like this book, though I found the ending a bit abrupt and found myself wanting a sequel to see where the two girls ended up. But I haven't heard anything about Haddix writing a sequel to this. I liked the premise of this story and how the girls coped with various problems.
