Austin landed on his knees, and coughed. It was cold, not freezing, but more breezier than what he was use to.
Blaze lay sprawled in the floor.
Blaze pulled herself up quickly by taking his hand for a brief second. "Yeah, I'm fine."
"Good." His eyes darted around, taking in his surroundings. He readied his bow from his back. "Better ready a weapon. We don't know what's in here. Might as well be prepared."
Austin whirled around, preparing to notch an arrow before realizing that she was not a threat. "Can you stand?" He asked, keeping his tone cold.
Blaze looked at the girl. She walked over and prodded her with a toe. "Are you okay?" she asked gently.
Blaze nodded briskly. "Where are you from?"
Blaze shrugged. "It doesn't matter." she said, but a hint of a Britsh accent was hidden in her voice.
((LOL!))
((LOL!))
Blaze looked around. "Prey to what?" she asked, her voice slightly tinged with scorn. "This is a baren wasteland."
Blaze shrugged. "I Suppose we should do somethng, I want to go home."
((Aw... Streak left. Not only the group, also GR.))
Austin glared at the two. "I'd shut up if I were you." He notched an arrow at an oncoming creature, aiming toward the head.

The creature stood on its hind legs, as if a bear. But its intelligent eyes told something else. This wasn't the first battle it'd come across... Austin released the arrow, letting it fly. A purple streak of death heading straight at the creature. The creature lurched to the left, dodging and snarling. Austin cursed at his poor aim. What really happened-- A twist in the events of time. He applied pressure to the handle of his bow, and it flipped to two, short but lightweight blades.
Max gasped, not knowing what to do. She reached into her boot and pulled out a dagger.((What about Blaze? Should someone else RP her or...))
((Posting a new topic 'bout it. My internet got cut off for a while...))
Austin didn't charge. He never did. He waited, and so did the creature. One of them had to charge, or this would turn to a staring contest.

Austin ignored her, examining the creature closely. It had no hostility to its eyes, just a questioning look. He was tempted to throw his blades, but maybe not everything was hostile here. But mercy had no place in the battlefield. But was this really a battlefield? Austin lowered his blades. "Maybe we should leave it alone. If it dodged an arrow, I'm not sure what else it'll do." A hint of uncertainty left his voice, and he was troubled.

From the exterior, it seems like a cluster of stars forced into a small, cramped orb. But the interior is much much more than that. A Labyrinth, made to ensure only the ones that were worthy to beat this maze were to emerge as champions of Haos. Those who lose, are not sent to death. Instead, they are sent to the Sync Point once more, to try once more.
Watch yourselves.
