Hooked-on-Books discussion

Best: Kate Constable comes to mind. I find her writing style to be very refreshing and poetic.

Worst: Alot will disagree on this one but I think Stephenie Meyer's writing style is just very dull. Has too much fillers in her stories. I'm sorry, but when I read Twilight it just put me to sleep.
(Not trying to be rude to the author. I just did not have that kind of taste in writing.) I do think it's comendable that her book series has become so popular. I just don't understand the hype.

Best: I don't have a favorite author. Just a favorite book.
Worst: J.D. Salinger

I don't think I really have a worst author that stands out.

Favorite author Steven Erikson. George RR Martin. Guy Gavriel Kay. Terry Pratchett. Neil Gaiman.

Least...I don't know. I read paranormal romance but I don't get J.R. Ward. Her stuff is a little too hard core for me.
