Okay, I'm in this month!

Jhereg has been recommended to me dozens of times, by people who know me well, which is the best kind of recommendation. I'll start reading today and comment as I go!

Already read it, but will be following the discussion.

I read this several years ago, and I really loved it. I won't be rereading it right now, but I'll be popping in to the discussion.

Read this about a year ago. I'm not usually a Fantasy reader, but this one got my interest in another reading group. I may have to unearth my comments from then.

The mail delivered it today. My first tentative with Brust (Dragon) wasn't really conclusive. I hope this one will be better.

Already read this, but I'm in and going to re-read it.

I need to re-read it, too. I've only read it half a dozen times, but it's been several years since the last one. It's short & good enough that I really look forward to it.

Read this when it came out, so long ago, I don't recall much - I'll pull my copy down and see if schedule permits the time for a reread.

I'm planning on reading the book. The descriptions make the series sound fun!

I read it a couple of years ago, and I really liked it. Like the series as a whole, having read the first six or seven.

Finished it last night! This book/series was recommended to me many times over the years, so I'm glad I had this little push to actually read it. And I think I'll be taking on the rest of the series, too!

I'm considering re-reading this book again, and doing something like one chapter per day. It's a great novel, and that way I can break it up into manageable chunks. If I don't do that, I won't get around to it. Anyone up for joining me and posting day by day?

Have to re-read it. It's been a few years since I have. I loved it the first and second time around.

I started it too. I am game Stefan, sometimes books read that way make for better discussion!

I just picked this up today.

I checked this out from the library Friday afternoon. As soon as I finish Archangel I will start it. Looking forward to it.

Folks, I'd mentioned that I was planning to read the book chapter by chapter to post my thoughts, but I came to the realization that it's impossible for me to do this without writing from the perspective of having read the entire series. This is one of those series that repositions the markers a few times along the way, revealing things about the history of the world and the characters. I think this would be a great series for our next series discussion, actually. So anyway, just wanted to let you know I abandoned that project for now, but if some of our first time readers want to try it, I'd be interested in reading your impressions.

Interesting suggestion. We'll be due for a Fantasy series next time around. :)

Started the book last week and I'm getting near the end now. Its been fun so far.
