Frost Burned (Book 7)
Thanks for the info, Has. I love the title! In fact, all the titles for the two series have been awesome.

Patricia Briggs needs to do more writing and less of...pretty much anything (maybe she can have a few hours of sleep but that is it! I need to draw the line somewhere)
Is Fair Game one of the Alpha and Omega books? I want to read that series but I just started Stray by Rachel Vincent... It's not as good as Mercy Thompson... But it will do! lol... I have other books ahead of the Alpha and Omega series. But all will be dropped once Frost Burned comes out.
Yes, Armani, it is part of the A&O series. But, if you love Mercy, you need to drop everything else and read the A&O books. Because THIS one is going to have a major impact on the next Mercy book. Dont want to be shocked out of your socks when it comes out if you haven't read this one.
Totally agree that you need to read the A&O series before the next Mercy book. It definitely has an impact on her world. But if you can manage to read all the A&O books plus the Shifter series before the next Mercy, I recommend you do so. Stray was not the most compelling, but after you read that one, the others all have cliffhangers that make you just keep going. I was glad I read that series after they had all come out. I read them all in a week.

I am really looking forward to this book. Is this going to be the last one in the series, or is that still to be determined?
Pat wrote: "If I remember correctly, there are at least two more Mercy books and one more Alpha and Omega book scheduled, but it has been a while since I read that so I could be wrong."Oh okay. Thanks. I read somewhere "Frost Burned" was the final book, but I wasn't sure if it was true.
I just finished Fair Game. And I agree with the posters that the Alpha and Omega series is now a must read before the next Mercy book is released. Before the A&O series was a nice side story to Mercy. But Fair Game just changed the game (no pun intended). And it will definitely change things in Mercy's world.
Fair Game was awesome! It should be read before next Mercy book... I love the cover of Frost Burned...
0_0Well, it shows on Goodreads for me. It's Dos Santos cover, Mercy is leaning on a back of a car, she has black jeans, black shirt... I don't know.

Definitely a dos Santos work but it's not up in his gallery yet.
Thanks for answering anyway, Lege.
by the way who is in your profile pic?

Oh, it just the most beautiful man ever born... ;) It's David Gandi for Freesoul, I love that pic...
I thought Frost Burned wasn't coming out until some time in 2013? o_O Why is the cover already up? No offense or anything. Just find it a little weird.
The cover isn't officially released yet because its not finalised but it should be up soonish. But it is Dan Santos' cover ;)
Lege wrote: "Oh, it just the most beautiful man ever born... ;) It's David Gandi for Freesoul, I love that pic... "wow, in that pic he resembles the guy who plays robb stark in game of thrones!

The cover is officially up now - and I've seen it posted on the GR page!!!! By the way here is a little spoiler from the latest blog post - There's going to be an Adam's POV chapter in the book where he will go all HULK when he sees that the pack is injured around him.
Why am I not folling @Mercys_garage? *runs to twitter*Love this cover. Love all the covers, actually.

Don't know if anyone missed this but Mike posted two snippets from Frost Burned - the first chapter excerpt will be up sometime in January! First snippet -

Second snippet (which features an appearance from a character from the Alpha and Omega books) -

And the chapter for Frost Burned has been posted!!!! And check out the comment from Patty! So funny :D http://www.hurog.com/books/frostBurne...
Ok, I LOVED Patty's comments. And, having done the whole Black Friday (shuddering in horror) thing in a brick and mortor several times in the past, I can see why that occured to her as a great way to start a book. Sigh, but now its back to twiddling my thumbs and obsessing until Frost Burned comes out.
Argh, I should not have read that! Such a teaser and months still to go! I absolutely cannot wait until March! Thanks for the update, though, Has! I enjoyed Patty's comment "I don't remember who decided it would be a good time to try Black Friday shopping (which started at midnight), but I'll blame Ann." lol Love that lady!
That excerpt was awesome. I'm looking forward to the book even more. Where was her comments? I must've missed them.

At the bottom of the page, after you finish the story, you'll see a link that says "Author's Comments."
That was just enough to be annoyed there's no more.lol Can't wait tell March(late March [:-(] ). Love the cover too, gold eyes and the tats suit her.
Ah, your right. I was thinking of another book. Got 4 that I can think of coming out in March that I'm looking forward to.
OMG! I just read the first chapter! (twice) I'm only just managing to refrain from jumping up and down and screaming!!I'm so glad Ben's in it, I love him.
Good start: Ben is a major player hurray. I thought the dynamic wasn't right between Ben and Mercy in the last book so I'm delighted they are working together here.
I was lucky to get an early review copy -- I read it in 2 days. It is fabulous everyone. Just amazing. 5 stars for me.
I've already pre-ordered it. IF the UPS guy gets here at his usual time I have 98 hours and about 8 minutes til it gets here. (But who is counting, right?)

Tidbits - It is going to cover or link to the events in Fair Game and might be set in Boston (Patty is writing it now! But she's known to change plot/ideas because she is a pantser.) It will also feature Fae, serial killers and maybe vamps! Mike also mentioned that there might be a fun scene about Black Friday sales which he mentioned on the blog. :D
