The Academy of Mystical Beings discussion

A desolate waste land of nothing. The white sands of time blow on endlessly and hold the unfortunate souls capture. The wretched beings wallow in their unhappiness until Judgement Day, when they can walk the Earth again.
Will probably be used mainly by the Arrancar.

The gate opened up to the white desert of Purgatory. Nelliel stepped through first, her expression as blank as the scenery. "Be careful," she warned.

Nelliel caught Deacon before he hit the ground. "That wasn't called for," she stated.

Grimmjow smirked, looking over at the large sand dunes. "We have company," he cackled.

Nelliel shook her head. "Violence is never the answer for such things and you don't decide who deserves what," she chastised, like a mother would a child.

Tesra rested a hand on Skarletta's shoulder. "Don't worry; they're small fry," he assured.

"Neither of us do," Nelliel sighed, running a hand through her hair.

"Not you, the things hiding behind the dunes," Tesra said, "I didn't mean to offend you. They won't be coming over with so many us here, or with Mother Nelliel." He gestured to a silouhette in the distance by a sand dune. It was not even remotely human in form, but more so feline.

"Purgatory," Grimmjow grunted, stalking towards one of the dunes. He wore a feral, crazy grin that twisted his face. His eyes shone brightly as he shimmered out of view and back near the dune.

"It's where we were reborn," Mila Rose stated.

"Dead souls who happen to be forgotten are placed here," Apache answered, brushing past her.

Nelliel was suddenly alert. "Who last saw here and which direction did she go in," she questioned, her blank expression masking the growing panic. "Apache, we'll look for her while Grimmjow and Tesra clear the dunes."

Tesra nodded, more like bowed, solemnly and headed for a dune opposite of where Grimmjow was. The cries of the creatures he ripped to shreds rang out along with his laughter.

Deacon crawled back up to Jagger's shoulder, whispering in his ear.

Faro looked around, "So we're just going to stand here?"

Cohen sighed boredly, rolling his eyes at Faro and tackling him to the ground where they then started fighting.

"Stupid boys..." Carmen muttered, turning away from them.

"I know, Car, I know..." Sadie nodded before going over to her biological cousin, Taber and quietly talking with him.

"We here for pleasure and business," Circucci stated, "Head to the dunes or Grimmjow'll get 'em all."

Carmen nodded and walked over to Jagger, the three of them going to the dunes (Deacon still on Jagger's shoulder).

Sadie and Taber followed, still talking quietly of more personal matters.

Cohen and Faro didn't hear as they tussled on the ground, Cohen with a split lip from one of Faro's punches, and Faro's eye closing as the area began to swell from Cohen's retaliation.

Mila Rose hefted Cohen and Faro over her shoulders, walking to one of the soul infested dunes.

Grimmjow had returned, his clothes and skin painted red with blood. He wore the same insane smirk and he ran a blood stained hand through his hair.

Apache, Sung-Sun, and Cirucci headed off away from the others while Ulquiorra, Lilynette, and Yylfordt hung back.

Faro still aimed another punch at Cohen, who deflected it and returned his own.

"Did I miss something?" Carmen asked as she neared Grimmjow, Jagger and Deacon not far behind her.

Sadie cast a brief glance at the others, before continuing with Taber.

Mila slapped Cohen's back side, stopping him.

"Just some fun," Grimmjow replied.

"Well if there's anything edible, do save me some," Carmen laughed lightly.

Cohen slapped the back of her head hard.

Mila Rose growled, hitting him harder.

Nelliel turned back to the portal, stepping through. "Aome," she called, Aome!"

Tegan and Sybil rushed in."my regrets for being late! Teggy is getting all love crossed and delusional."

"am not."tegan said crossing his arms.

"Just stick with the group," Tesra said with a light smile.

Tegan and Sybil nodded."where are we going next?"

"We're going to our previous base," Grimmjow replied, licking his lips.

Tegan shrugged."sounds so much fun."he said sarcastically.

Sybil looked around nervously."why, what's there?"

"Just history," Apache stated, "It has some our best assets in there."

Tesra began leading the group. "Follow me, please," he said, "And if you see something frightening, it's most likely me or one of the others." He smiled faintly, turning away from them.

Tesra smiled at Skarletta. "I wonder who would be the scariest," he mused.

"I know, but many think I'm scarier than Nelliel," Tesra said, "She's quite the beast."

"I don't think you've seen her," Tesra speculated, "Have you?"

"I'm Tesra," he said, chuckling, "Yes, there are a lot of us."

"I like that name."tegan pitched in.

Sybil sighed. Wishing she never came here and wondering where zaine was.

"no idea.. Don't really care much."tegan said shrugging."I tagged along out of boredom."he said.

Sybil rolled his eyes."teg you are such a liar."she said her heart racing at his touch."hey."

"I don't lie and she's fine thank you very much."tegan said zipping his lip.

Sybil smiled."I'm glad you're here. This place is eerie."

"watch me."tegan said smiling a little.

"well now it's worth it hmm?" Sybil said locking her arm with his.

Tegans eyes darkened."no. I Dont feed anymore. And never her."

"really? Because I see this handsome guy who caught my heart."Sybil said.

Tegan looked at her."I guess... What about you?"

Sybil laughed".he better not."

"you're wrong skar and you know it."tegan said.

Sybil blushed red."how have you been?"

"whatever you say sis. By the way I fed jaws your cat..."tegan said.

"bored out of my mind."

Tegan paled."I'm screwed... You have to help me get another cat!"

Sybil looked at him."but we can't just leave!"

"what! That's a stupid idea."tegan said.

"I don't like going out of the lines."Sybil said quietly.

Tesra glanced back at them, suddenly freezing. "Everyone, be quiet," he ordered.

Nelliel, having found Aome in the gate before it closed, stepped to the front of the group. "How many," was her only question.

"Close to a hundred," Sung-Sun replied, "What shall we do, Mother?"

"I say we let them come," Lilynette responded, "It's what we oughta do, Nel. We have to put them in their place and show 'em not to mess with the Espada."

Nelliel stared ahead for some time, then walked forward. "I'll take care of them," she said, "Just protect everyone else."

They nodded and watched her walk off ahead of them. "Don't get comfortable," Grimmjow stated, "This'll be quick."

Tegan rolled his eyes at Skarletta, staying quiet. He looked forward now, preparing for whatever.

Sybil slid her hand into his, nibbling her lip nervously.

Sybil tried not to laugh."yes except we can die."

Tegan leaned against the wall.

Sybil leaned her head on zaine's shoulder."hey Lawrence I will bit you so back off."

Tegan turned his back on her, taking out his ipod.

Mila Rose watched them, brow quirked. "Exactly, what does that accomplish? The Menos follow sound, and you're making plenty of it."

Tesra sighed, "We should be hearing her any minute now."

Sybil glared at Lawrence, fire in her eyes.

Tegan kept ignoring her, turning it on and waiting for further instructions.

Mila Rose snorted, very much amused by how quickly Lawrence turned. "You've got the species wrong, but nice try."

Tesra smiled at Skarletta. "It's Tesra, but I guess you can keep calling me Tape."
