Jennifer: So far this month I am on my second book. I have read Mr. Perfect by Linda Howard and now I am almost finished The Pawn, by Steven James. I like the Linda Howard story, but there was way too much sex IMO. Even though I enjoyed the story and her writing, I probably won't read more of her books due to that.
I am enjoying the Steven James book where the main character is a crime profiler. The Pawn is the first in a series where Patric Bowers plays the significant role.
I finished The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern (#11) and absolutely loved it. It wasn't like any other story I've read before. Even though I just finished it yesterday, reading the quotes here on Goodreads still gets me choked up!I am currently reading The Fault in Our Stars by John Green (#12). I am only 60 pages in and I'm loving the characters! They are witting and funny! I'm anticipating the journey that we will travel with Hazel and Augustus.
I'm at 17/50 with 2 on the go 17.
18. 1Q84
19.
20. King Dork
and if I make it that far I haven't decided what will be next.
So far this month I've read:6) The Sontaran Games (Doctor Who)
7) Doctor Who: I Am A Dalek
Hoping this month to finish reading a bunch of books I've already started:
8) The Tuesday Club Murders
9) Celebrity Detox
10) Madame Tussaud: A Novel of the French Revolution
11) The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
12) Garden of Evil
hah oops got start-books happy now to get them done :P
Also supposed to read this for my book club:
13) The Virgin Cure
The Virgin Cure is a wonderful book, Kirsten. (At least, I loved it a whole lot!) I hope you do get to it and that your group has an interesting discussion. I can imagine it would lend itself well to a book group.
I just finished book #25 today, The Earthquake Machine Mary Pauline Lowry.I'm hoping to finish reading Everneath by Brodi Ashton this month, as well as read Bossypants by Tina Fey (I read mixed reviews about this book, I hope I like it), Bloodlines by Richelle Mead, and some more manga (don't know which yet).
I've already had a great start to March, finishing 3 books so far:A Complicated Kindness
Smashed
Moneyball
So far this month I've completed 8 books towards my 50 book pledge. I have finished:
1. Panedmonium by Lauren Oliver

We won't be discussing it until the beginning of April though. This is my first time join in with this particular book club so will have to wait and see how it goes...
