Lanie Jazz (strumsingluv) Tell how you felt about the first book.

Audrey ~ EXO-L (lunewhisper7) I loved it. I just finished reading it actually, so i was all like--
Me: THERE HAS GOT TO BE A ROLEPLAY FOR THIS. XD

It's amazing! Poor Peeta though...

Lanie Jazz (strumsingluv) Yeah. Katniss is kind of jerk to him in the first book.

Ikr? And pretty clueless.

Lanie Jazz (strumsingluv) Yeah, I didn't really like her at all.

Exactly! Pretty self-centered in the first book but she gets better as the series goes on. She's more concerned about survival than anything else, which is understandable.

Lanie Jazz (strumsingluv) She doesn't give a *some think this word is a bad word* CRAP about Peeta, really. She pretends to, but it's not really till AFTER she's out of the games that she realizes she loves Peeta.

Even then, she still doubts herself. Especially when she goes in the second time. And honestly, in the first two books she was too scared to stand up to the Capitol and District 13 basically had to force her to. It's like she never even considered it.

Lanie Jazz (strumsingluv) I know! That's why she's not my fav charcater.

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah me neither. Peeta's mine. He was determined to fight the capitol from the beginning.

Rue~alwaysa1directioner~ (Ruealwaysa1directioner) Mine too!! Katniss is quite stupid in the first book actually.

Lanie Jazz (strumsingluv) me 3!!!!!!!!!!!!

I actually think Katniss is amazing. She had a ring to be selfish in some aspects in my opinion- she practically gave her life up for her sister and resistance of the Capitol. In her situation, no girl I know would be able to be as brave as Katniss was. She was afraid to love Peeta because it seemed to perfect and nothing was ever perfect for her before in her life. I love it.

Yes, that's how she was in the first book. She was strong, brave, feisty, and independent. In the second book, we still see those traits but then they start to slip away. But in the third one, Katniss completely looses herself in greif and misery. She become nothing but a puppet, and never makes any decisions for herself-- all are made for her.

I totally agree with you. She irked me in the second book withthe loss of some of that fire but I was still on her team until book three which I couldn't even finish.
