By participating in this thread, your character has a higher chance of receiving parachutes during the Hunger Games. These parachutes may contain food, water, medicine or weapons.

Pre-Hunger Games Interviews are key to a tribute's survival. In the audience are hundreds of wealthy sponsors; whichever tribute charms them the most, they will donate the most money to that tribute's parachutes in the Arena. It is best to leave a good impression on these influential people.

Caesar Flickerman stood up in front of the crowd, beaming and blowing. His hair, cobalt blue, made women chatter. After bowing a final time, Caesar looked into the cameras. "Welcome to the annual tribute Interviews. We have an interesting group of kids with us here today! Let's give them a hand!" The place applauded and glitter exploded above the audience.

Caesar sat down in a chair opposite another chair. He nodded offstage.

Jace got up when Luoise passed by him. He felt a bit curious, because although he got to watch through aTV, he wanted to know if it was nervous being up there in front of the whole show. He strode over and ook a seat.

((I'll do the same.))

Cara smoothed her turquoise gown nervously. It was long and heavy, with ruffles representing sea waves trailing diagonally down the skirt of the dress, while to top was sweetheart cut and sleeveless. She was wearing for inch heels. She whined to her mentor, but Illisa would have none of it. So, she and Sesis walked down to the interviews together. Sesis was a quiet woman. When it was time for them to part- Sesis into the audience and Cara backstage- Sesis merely nodded her head and glided away. Bocol was already sitting there, in the crowd. Cara spotted Jace right away. She sat next to him, as she should. She would go directly after him.

She smiled at him. "Well, someone looks excited," she said sarcastically. Cqra herself was extremely nervous. She wasn't used to the spotlight being on her. She tried to breathe.

He looked down at what he was wearing. He look ed like some sort of Mytholical God... what was his name? Yes, Posiden. He llooked pretty good himself. But he thought Cara was beautiful. She looked like she was supposed to be a mermaid of some sorty. Well, he as supposed to be a fisherman, not a God...

"I know, I'm totally loking forward to this whole gig." he whispered back, griitting his teeth. "Just breathe, it'll go smoother than you think."

When Cara saw Zach, the boy who warned her about nightlock in the Training Center, enter, Cara waved slightly. She gave hike as small smile, then turned back to Jace.

She shifted awkwardly for a moment. "Jace, if you would… Could you wait backstage for me while I'm doing my interview? I need to be able to see a friendly face if I mess up, and Sesis isn't…"

"Thank you," Caea said, but her words were drowned out by the beginning theme song of the Hunger Games interview. Backstage, everyone quieted. Cara sat up straight and fidgeted with her hands.

Louise Coiller walked onto the stage without looking at the audience. She took a kiss to her hand from Caesar and sat down, avoiding eye contact with the cameras.

Q1: How did you feel when you were selected at the Reaping?

"I was scared to be leaving home, and I was angry I couldn't finish building my solar-powered laser," Louise mumbled. Caesar laughed, even though she wasn't funny. He got the audience going for a couple seconds.

Q2: Who back home is cheering you on?

"My father and six siblings will be watching."
Q3: How do you like your attire this evening?

"I think that it is pretty, though a bit scratchy," Louise said blandly. Her dress was knee-length and gray, with long lace sleeves and her back was exposed. She was wearing gray flats and her hair was curled. Her was wearing her glasses.

Q4: Why should these people in the audience sponsor you?

"I am bringing some different things to the Games this year. My brain is my biggest weapon, but it will do far more damage then a mace or longsword." Louise had a spark of passion in these words. It was quite mysterious.

Q5: Have you made any alliances? Th crowd and I are dying to know!

"I am dying literally. The crowd can wait," Louise said irritably. There were a few awkward seconds, then the timer rang. Louise left the stage, hearing little applause.

((I'm going to react as if there was a mix-up and Cara has to go first, okay?))

Cara heard her name boom from Caesar's lips to the rest of Panem. With one nervous look into the eyes of Jace, she stepped onto stage, trying to mimic Sesis's graceful step. People oohed at her dress and appearance. Cara sat carefully down next to Caesar and gave him a warm smile.

Q1: How did you feel when you were selected at the Reaping?

Cara looked to the ground for an instant, then up at the cameras. "Well, I wasn't the cheeriest person in the world," she said. "But when my family came to say goodbye before I left, I was hopeful." She smiled a little.

Q2: Who back home is cheering you on?

"My mother, father, and my two little brothers. They are the most supportive and loving people. I love you so much," she said to one camera, extending one hand out to her family back in District Four.

Q3: How do you like your attire this evening?

"This outfit is the prettiest thing I've ever worn. It comforts me because it reminds me of my favorite place," she added. She stood off to show the audience her outfit. It was a long, turquoise gown that had diagonal ruffles trailing down the skirt, representing the ocean waves. The shirt was sleeveless, leaving Cara feeling slightly uncomfortable in front of all those people. The top was sweetheart cut, and lacked all the ruffles seen on the skirt. The top part was simple, but accentuated Cara's tiny waist. She looked tall and more mature in her dress. Her black curls, shiny and smooth for once in her life, bounced freely around her head.

Q4: Why should these people in the audience sponsor you?

"I was very successful in the Training Center. I'm quiet and I can spend quite a long time alone. As the dummies in the training center can no longer tell you, I'm deadly." Cara felt slightly bad that she was being so braggy, but she reminded herself that this was for sponsors. She had to get over it.

Q5: Have you made any alliances? The crowd and I are dying to know!

"You'll know when my ally comes out," she replied. "He's really helped me out in the past few days." With that, the buzzer rang. The audience clapped and Cara curtsied, shortly, then walked off the stage.

Backstage, the first thing Cara did was rip those dang shoes off and throw them. Then she patted Jace on the shoulder. "I totally forgot about my persona. They'll be eager to find out who the mystery boy is, so knock them dead."

~❤Rikka❤~ *living is just a symptom of dying* Alyx stood back stage, fingers pulling a little nervously at the dress she wore. It was a white peasant blouse with puffy sleeves, a tight black corset underneath, and a short black skirt, even caming complete with a long red cape and hood. She'd kept the hood on, casting the top half of her face in shadow and giving her a slightly mysterious look. Her long hair was styled into a braid with colorful flowers and what seemed like vines woven in and thrown carelessly over one shoulder to show it it off. She knew the story behind the outfit, and how she would have to tell it later. Sighing, she toyed with the pendant on the slim golden chain around her neck, watching the other tributes a little warily.

GonnaWingIt | 113 comments Jace smirked. "No problem. I'm sure they'l be so "shocked"." he replied. He stood up, and listen cautiously for his name to be called. Caesar finally shouted his name, cue his time to go on stage. He strode over to his seat, and quickly sat down. His outfit was supposed to symbolize a fisherman, yet he could see the word, "Posiden" escape the mouths of his fellow spectators. Caesar grinned, and looked at the crowd. "Look familiar? This-" he waved his hand at Jace-"MUST be Posiden himself!" the audience was now murmuring, wondering whether he really did symbolize someone so powerful Jace was no expert on Mythology, but Posiden was District Four's most resemblant figure, besides the fish. "Let's begin with the interview, anyways. Jace took a deep breath through his nose, and nodded.

Q1: How did you feel when you were selected at the Reapings?

Jace turned his gaze to thee crowd. "Well, I was probably the most thrilled boy you'd ever see. Of, course, I was shocked. But then again, it's not like fish being happy to be caught in a net with other fish." Jace said, in a tone dripping with sarcasm. The crowd roared with laughter. "I was of course happy. What career wouldn't?"

Q2: Who back home is cheering you on?

Jace thought. "Well, I have a nephew, a sister, a mother." then he whipped his gaze back to the crowd. "And my mother was a hottie." again, the crowd applauded.

Q3: How do you like your attire this evening?

"I love my outfit. My designer was an absolute genius. Some people look like objects from their Districts come alive, only one hundred times worse and uglier. I canm't believe they had the courage to show their faces to the crowd." Jace was smiling an unistakible grin full of sarcasm. "And trust me, Cara is absolutly gorgeous. She looks like Athena herself, only much more jaw dropping." he added, not wanting Cara to get angry at him.

Q4: Why should these people sponsor you?

Jace sat back into his chair, giving the impression he was relaxed and content. "Me? Well, I have to many reasons to list, so I'll list the main ones." the crowd started whispering, admiring him. "I was the best swimmer in my District. No one swam as fats as me, and I would always finish my tasks way before they were expected to be done. I am also a great trident and spear weilder. If you doubt me, just watch my Training Center Viodeo. I'm sure to shock you." Jace said in a casual tone., He didn't want to seem like he was bored. "And I was a fisherman, the best. I'm also among the best of the best of the careers. Those reasons good enough?"

Q5: Have you made any alliances? The crowd and I are dying to know!

"I'm absolutly sure you'd know by the start. Cara, is my partner. She and I are going to make a great team. Cara has wits and skill, and I'm sure you'll be suprised at our teamwork."

The buzzer went off.

"Well, it was wonderful seeing you, Jace! I wish you could stay, but now it's time for the next District!" he turned to the crowd. "Come on! Let's see him on his way out." the crowd raored with applause, everyone was smiling. Did my interview really go that well? he raised an eyebrow when he was out of the spotlight.

((Nope, you're free to rp Sarah~))

((Sarah, you can still participate in any thread. I haven't locked anything, and will not until the arena is finished.))

Cara blushed furiously through part of his interview, when he called her beautiful as Athena, but then calmed herself when she realized that he was probably just putting on a show. The words he said were words meant to allure the people, as Cara had so clearly failed to do.

She stood up and gave him a big white smile. "That was really really good!" she nearly squealed. "You could tell that they found you likable. And hey seemed intrigued by our alliance," she added. She wanted to tall more, but she heard Illisa call her name the hallway. "Crud," Cara said, quickly wedging those painful shoes onto her feet. "Bye!" she said with a little wave.

BOCOL- D4 Mentor

Bocol stood up after Jace's interview- a rude and uncommon thing to do during a live televised event, but Bocol didn't care much about how he would be scorned later by the news media. He made his way backstage and found his tribute. "Jace," he whispered, and made a motion for the boy to follow him into the hallway so that they could talk.

~❤Rikka❤~ *living is just a symptom of dying* Alyx sighed when it was her turn to go onstage, knowing as a District 10 tribute she wasn't exactly favored to win. She adjusted her hood slightly, ensuring it hid the upper half of her face in shadow, giving her a slightly mysterious look. She drew the cape around her, hiding the dress as she swept onto the stage, drawing murmurs from the crowd. She gave a secretive smile to the audience before sitting down and nodding to Ceaser to indicate she was ready for the interview.

Q1: How did you feel when you were selected at the Reaping?

"I felt like every other tribute does when they're picked out. Shocked, scared, angry," she paused and gave a small shrug of her shoulders. "Doesn't mean I have any intention of losing these games. Over my dead body," she chuckled darkly at her 'joke'.

Q2: Who back home is cheering you on?

"Who indeed?" she answered with a small sigh. "Obviously my family. Maybe one or two of the animals." Laughter rippled through the crowd but she didn't seem to notice. "Unfortunately, I was so good with the animals no boy wanted to approach me, they were too embarrassed I was better than them." She faked a pout for the crowd, drawing more laughs from them. Her lips had been painted a ruby red to match her cloak, making them stand out against her skin.

Q3: How do you like your attire this evening?

She gave a mysterious smile, opening the cloak to reveal the dress. It was a white peasant blouse with puffy sleeves, a tight black corset underneath, and a short black skirt that barely reached her knees. Her feet were daintily clad in fire-red stilettos. "I think it's pretty good. My stylist was telling me a story while I was being dressed in this. It was a pretty old fairytale I think," the crowd hushed, listening to her words. "He told me, there was this girl who always wore a red hood, to the point people were calling her Little Red Riding Hood. He didn't remember all the story, but there was a part where she was eaten by a wolf, and someone came and saved her. I have no intention of being eaten by the Big Bad Wolf, but I don't suppose anyone in the crowd would mind being the one who saves me either?" She cast a flirtatious look to the crowd, swearing she saw one teen boy around her age actually swoon. Ceasar looked half impressed by the story, "Well, I'm sure our audience wouldn't mind playing a savior!" His laughter rang out above the crowd.

Q4: Why should these people in the audience sponsor you?

"Why shouldn't they?" she answered with slight grin, flashing her pearly whites. "I'm a pretty good bet, if I do say so myself. I have a few..." she paused for effect, giving a small, slightly sadistic giggle to herself, "....Tricks, up my sleeves. I'm not going to reveal all here, but trust me, there's a lot more to me than just my pretty face."

"Maybe if you showed us that face," Ceasar joked with an easy laugh, raising an eyebrow. "I think most of us are quite curious to see your lovely looks.

"In good time, in good time," she answered, leaning back in the seat slightly.

Q5: Have you made any alliances? The crowd and I are dying to know!

She shook her head, "My my, already trying to get me to give up my secrets? If you're dying to know, then you'll just have to find out when the game starts. After all, what's the fun of a game when all everything has already been revealed?" She gave the crowd a mysterious smile.

"Okay okay," Ceasar answered, shaking his head. "Well, we only have a little time left so why don't you reveal your face to the crowd tonight?"

Alyx stood up gracefully, and with a grand flourish, pulled down her hood, eliciting gasps of surprise from the audience. Her makeup was tastefully done, black eyeliner with red and gold eyeshadow over it. A small full color tattoo of a wolf had been painted on her left cheek, in a position as if it were howling to the moon. It was done with painstaking care, the camera zoomed in on it, it showed up on screen as so lifelike she herself half expected it to move.

"I've been taking care of domestic animals all my life, but that doesn't mean I don't have a wild side too," she spoke quietly into the microphone. "This Little Red Riding Hood is going to become the Big Bad Wolf now, but this time, the wolf isn't going to lose."

The buzzer went of and she swept off stage, not bothering to put up her hood agains as she walked into backstage, barely noting if there was any applause behind her

Sophia and Xander walked onstage as a couple together. Thier mentor had deided this was tye best approach: deifant and weak.

Q1: How did you feel when you were selected at the Reaping?

"Feel?" Sophia answered, "I didn't feel at all. I was numb to the world around me. Then it hit me all at once. I was shocked. I was even more so when Xander was called."

"What about you Xan Xan? Can I call you that? How did you feel?"

Xander twisted his fingers nervously, "Um, sure. My thoughts weren't really about me or how I felt. I just wanted to make sure Sophia and my family was okay."

Q2: Who back home is cheering you on?

Xander straightened up, "Hopefully everybody. I mean, who can deny this handsome face?" He flashed the crowd a grin and the crowd went wild at his perfect smile. "And even more, who can deny this beautifulness," he said, putting arm around Sophia.

Caesar laughed, "Can we see those two perfect smiles again?"

Xander and Sophia turned to the crowd and both flashed their smiles. Their teeth were pearly and white.

Q3: How do you like your attire this evening?

"Like?" Sophia asked, "I love!" She stood up and showed off her black dress. It had lightning stripes going across the bottom half. When she turned in diffeent positions, the lightning would seem to srtike acroos the room. The croud oohed and aahed.

"I see. But what is so special about yours," he gestured at Xan Man's black suit.

Xander stood up and turned around. On the back of suit, there was a sing lighning stripe. It was sequined but had lights around it. But his suit was special. It had special affect put into it. When Xander pushed a button in his suit, the sound of lightning echoed throught the room.

Q4: Why should these people in the audience sponsor you?

"Why? Why not is the real question. We have everything: the looks, the talent,a dnt the personality."

Q5: Have you made any alliances? The crowd and I are dying to know!

"Yeah, and so are our competitors. I think we'll keep that to ourselves. But are best alliance is in each ither. Nothing can keep love apart, not even the shadow of death. S get ready, because this lightning is about to strike you all down."

With that, the buzzer buzzed and Sophia and Xander walked off the stage, hand in hand. Not caring what the crowd thought. No one saw the smirks on their faces.

█║ ✕ Angel ‟ (sirsly) Emmiline blushed slightly, as she came in. Her dress short, showing her long legs. The crowd cheered, as soon as the light was fixed on her. "Please welcome, Emmiline Grey!" Caesar said, standing. He took her hand, helping her seat.

"Beautiful dress my dear, for our first question. How did you feel when you were selected at the Reaping?"

Emmiline brushed the hair out of her face, with her hand. Buying time to think. Killed, Depressed, Angry, Bad for poor Berry. "I was terrified of course! Who wouldn't be Caesar. I think when I say this, I mean it for all the tributes. I did not see that coming." She smiled over at the crowd.

Caesar laughed out to the crowd, extending his head towards the crowd. Flashing his big smile. When he was back in his seat, relaxed. He asked, "A fine lady like you, someone has to be cheering you on. Any ideas?" Emmiline shrugged, and giggled a little. "I hope my foster father Berry is. Other than that, I don't think anyone cares that much." She smiled.

"Your dress, looks stunning in my opinion. Do you like it?" He asked, Emmiline got up, showing off her dress. She grabbed his hand, as he stood. It was white, with a little red. Short, showing her long shiny legs. She looks amazing in it. Showing her beautiful features. (view spoiler) Caesar smiled brightly, "Spin, Spin, Spin!" He insisted. She turned around once, smiling brightly. Caesar put his hands in front of her, as if she was a model and that you could buy her. "This is amazing!" He said, and they soon sat down. Trying not to waste time.

"Why should these people," He pointed at the audience. "Sponsor you?" Emmiline cleared her throat. "I never said they should. But I just want to go home, and I really hope a good person wins. That may or may not be me. Choose with whatever you think is best." She said, smiling at the crowd. Her hands in her lap.

"For our last and final question!" He frowned, cutely. "Have you made any alliances? We're dying to know!" Emmiline laughed. "Why would I tell you all that? That'd be spoiling the entire games!" The buzzer rang, and Caesar smiled. "Unfortunately, our time is up!" "Good luck with you, Emmiline Grey. And may the odds ever be in your favor."
