My official review!!
I’ll start by saying that I saw it twice in the space of about 12 hours. At midnight I saw it IMAX, in the third row. The next time, I saw it in a smaller theater in the back row.
I think it captured the essence of the book perfectly. It was brutal, but not ridiculus. It was exciting, but not over the top. All the actors turned out perfect, esp jennifer Lawrence.
I miss the things that weren’t there, as they helped the beauty of the story, but I’m aware that no one can sit through a 10 hour movie
A lot of things were missing, but it FELT like Panem. If you know the books, your head fills in the rest and it becomes AMAZING. But there is stuff missing.
I didn’t cry when Rue died, but I was pretty close. Espthe second time.
I actually liked the things they added- it pretty much answered questioned I still had about the book
My mom was annoyed with the shaking camera thing. Please stop!
Gale’s reaction to the kiss= AWWWWWWWWW from entire audience.
Peeta sounds like such a stalker in the movie. (I watch you walk home every day, every day.)

He was not creepy at all. He was exactly what he was in the book. Did you see Portia during the time when they were seeing the tributes' scores? hahaha All I could say is whoa. She looks colorful.

Well, I can't really describe it, he just seemed...how shall I put it...strange or something.

Thanks...I saw another post of yours a while back, and it had the number of days. I've lost count since. :)
I liked it but I hate that they took all of Peeta's good lines from the book.EX; "come to finish me of sweetheart?"
And the cave seen that should have been so sweet:(
