The movie did the Capitol perfectly.
NoMadge, no Avoxes, the relationships were not well developed.

While watching the trailer a while back, I realized that the guy at the reaping was President Snow...in my opinion, he looks too much like Santa Claus to be an evil mastermind of sorts. :)

I saw the movie today, and the technology was AWESOME!!! Although, main details were skipped, which irked me...

I saw them too, but to anyone who hadnt read the book, they weren't anything at all. And there was no 'redheaded' avox

But for a movie it's hard to get everything in it. They did a good job considering it was a hard movie to pull off and they had a budget too...
i agree, the capitol was captured amazingly, yet the movie didnt show the deep, heartfilled sorrow of when rue had died. i feel like this was bcuz the movie didnt do as good of a job of displaying details as the book did, also i feel as if they screwed up some of the sad moments for later movies, like how the movie didnt include madge.so i would have to conclude that the book was better than the movie
Definitely...I would have been so surprised if they could actually make the movie better though.
In a way, it sometimes seems like they took out the important details (like Madge or Lavinia) to add in all the extras that the book didn't need to make it good.
