Name: Natalie HollandAge: Seventeen (17)
Gender: Female
District: Eight
Appearance:
Natalie is by no means a looker. She's an average girl, five feet nine inches tall, pale and willowy. Long hair a dusty, darker shade of brown is normally pulled back from her face, revealing her stern features: her small but bright wide-set gray eyes, the color of steel. Her angular eyebrows, small nose, and full lips that are almost always pulled down at the corners. Everything else about her is rather long and thin: her body, arms and legs, toes and fingers. Especially her fingers, which have spent so much time dancing above sheets of fabric with a needles as partners. No, Natalie isn't a looker, but she's hard to miss even in the uniformness of District 8's sweatshops. Some people might even call her pretty.
Personality: Natalie Holland might as well be a robot for all the expression she shows. Polite, formal, almost emotionless at times, it's all anyone's ever seen and all they ever will see: a mild, mannered District girl with nothing to say about anyone or anything, anywhere. A cold, distant seamstress who speaks when spoken to but acts as if she's taught herself that expression and emotions lead directly to trouble. Someone who regularly takes her feelings and bottles them up just as easily as she would water from the well, making sure nothing breaks through her composed, unreadable mask. Natalie keeps herself locked up, she says, only because “life is painful and emotions just make things more complicated than they already are. I don’t need complication, I don’t want it. Nobody does.”
History: Natalie was born a humble, oppressed girl in a humble, oppressed family. Her father was a teacher, her mother a seamstress, her three elder sisters slaves to the sewing machines of Eight's many factories. Natalie was never much different from the others in her family. As a little girl she was sweet, cheerful and impossible to upset. She loved the lessons her mother would give her each afternoon as a child, teaching the skills necessary for work: cutting cloth, working the machines, sewing; Natalie loved sewing. So good was her work and so enthusiastic her attitude that the Peacekeepers deemed her fit for the factories at the young age of nine.
For a while Natalie loved her job at the factory, just as much as she loved everything else. But her particular factory was doing poorly while she worked there, the quotas weren’t met; and so the overseers began cracking down. The employees found their hours extended, their wages cut—and Natalie’s life in general became much, much harder. Hunger pangs and exhaustion turned into her constant companions and by age ten the little girl, it seemed, was at her breaking point, pushed to her limit by oppression and the relative cheerless situation that was her life. Because that’s when she began to change.
Her smiles became smaller and her laugh more hollow when it was heard, if at all. She stopped skipping to work. She stopped talking to her friends at school, stopped weaving her parents and sisters little gifts in the evenings, ceased to care about certain things altogether. The sudden change in Natalie startled her family, all of whom were so used to coming home and greeting a smiling, cheerful daughter. But no matter what they did, the young girl remained downcast. And downcast she stayed from then on, the only color in her life the fabrics and clothes she sewed in her factory.
Since the reaping Natalie has become even more reclusive. She refuses to let anybody anywhere know what she is thinking or feeling. Even her tone of voice is expressionless now, for she has deemed bonds and emotions and expression of these emotions as dangerous as the Hunger Games themselves. She’s been that way ever since she’d realized that she was going to die in the next few weeks.
Strengths: Natalie can make clothes out of almost anything, the one skill of hers she talks pride in. Her work has given her lots of experience with dyes and she since has daubed in camouflage in preparation for the arena. She’s used to not feeling and may ignore her conscience during the Games, leading to her being a potentially dangerous, maybe even cruel rival in battle.
Weaknesses: Natalie knows absolutely nothing of nature, and that is the flat-out truth. Her lessons with weapons will be her first, and she will very, very likely be an inexperienced fighter during the Games. She is not particularly fast or strong and has no strategy for her interviews anyhow, leading to a disadvantage when it comes to getting sponsers.
Fears: She’s never told anyone, not since she was reaped, but Natalie has a real problem with death. She’s absolutely petrified of dying at another’s hand and prays that her death during the Hunger Games (which she thinks is inevitable) will be as natural as possible.
Other: Natalie’s tribute token is a small silver button, the first one she’d ever sewn onto a coat. It’s very special to her and the only thing she owns that brings back happy memories of her childhood.
Name: Shimmer Rupalia Hayes
Age: 15
Gender: Female
District: 1
Appearance:
A rare genuine smile...
You aren't even worth her time....
Shimmer is often described as beautiful. Full, rosebud lips, pale complexion, fiery hair. Her only faults are the smatterings of freckles across her skin, but even they do not mar her image. Her usual garb is that of her namesake; shimmery and adorned with sequins, dresses that make her broad shoulders and slim physique stand out.
Personality: Brutal. Ruthless. If you came to know the real Shimmer, that would be the words that come to mind. But she's become quite good at hiding her feelings. When she really, really likes you, then you will see the girl not blinded by jealousy (see History), but only every once in a while. That girl was a smiling, happy, carefree one. She had an infectious laugh, and a lovely singing voice.
It's too bad she's practically gone.
History: It all started when she was eight. That was when her sister, Satin, was Reaped. The honor, the esteem that Satin got, in the Capitol, at home-- Shimmer wanted that. She wanted it badly.
The jealousy only got worse as she aged, and the Hayes moved into their house in Victor's Village. Life was good, and Shimmer never wanted for anything-- her family was already one of the wealthiest of the District, and the Victor in the family only helped.
So Shimmer trained. She studied every Games with an analyst's eye, planned different strategies, learned what it felt like to feel hungry. She had her sob story planned for Caesar, she had her strategy. She was ready.
When her cousin's name was called out, she stepped forward with shoulders cocked and a gleam in her eye:
"I volunteer as Tribute."
Strengths: Shimmer has a talent for stealth. She is also very good at throwing knives and shooting (bows/arrows), but she would use her impressive acting skills to seduce in the arena.
Weaknesses: Shimmer is arrogant, for one, but she is also very scared of physical contact. She prefers to strike from afar.
Fears: Shimmer fears one thing; and one thing only: dying in the Games without any respect. She doesn't want to be a nameless face at the bloodbath. She doesn't want to go down without a fight. If she does die, which she probably won't, she will killed in a struggle, which she will almost win. Of course.
Other: I hope the links work. If not, can someone help me?

Links didn't work, send me the pics. and I'll see what I can do.As for your character, she can't be accepted until we sort some things out. Because this is the first Hunger Games there would be no studying of past tapes (which she would not have access to back at her home) and her sister couldn't be a victor. Still, I'm reluctant to make you rewrite your entire history...
Ok, I'll PM them to you in a sec. And when you say the first hunger games, do you mean literally the first ever? Because then a lot of the things about the districts would have to be changed, right?
Not necessarily, no. It's simply the start of the Hunger Games--the conditions in the districts at the time, as far as we know, would be the same. It's not like we're going back in time or anything.
Ah. Then Ill PM and text you tomorrow, because I wont have computer access till then. But I will edit as fast as possible.
Name: Katrina Emerson
Age: 16
Gender: Female
District: 2
Appearance:

Katrina is a very pretty girl. Dirty blond curls fall down past her shoulders, she's tanned, due to training outdoors, and her hazel eyes give her an almost innocent appearance. If it weren't for the cold, hardened look in her eyes, you could think she's sweet from first glance. She's of average height, about 5'8.
Personality: Katrina was once a sweet, caring girl. She loved everyone in her district, even the ones who were cruel to her. After her training, however, that changed. She cut herself off from everyone, swearing to never care about anyone ever again. She's now cruel, cold, and has a terrifying temper. She's very calm most of the time, and tries not to let her temper get the best of her, yet it does anyway.
In her worst moments, she will show no mercy, the glint in her eye evil and sadistic. If she speaks, it's sarcastic; mocking even the sweetest people in her path. Her temper causes her to act rashly, without much consideration to the future. An ally could be slaughtered brutally without a moment's notice, all for a harsh comment against her.
History: When Katrina was a small child, she was spoiled. Constantly doted on, this child thought there was nothing wrong with the world. Then the rebellion hit Panem at the age of five. Everyone was fighting everyone. Poor Katrina didn't comprehend it at the time, yet started her training for the consequence of the war the next year. Minor at first, she thought they were teaching them the rules of a game.
At the age of eight, she was still kidding herself, as they trained them how to use weapons. They just want us to be safe if everyone starts fighting again, she thought. It took her until the age of ten, when they started battle strategy for it to click. This isn't a game. This is a war, and I have to win.
At the age of twelve, she was learning how to train herself to close off her emotions. No sorrow, no empathy was allowed. If she winced when another was hurt, she would get hurt the same way. This was when she developed her temper, an almost famous thing in her class. The teachers adored it.
At fourteen, she had mastered a small range of weapons and battle strategy, her mind had closed off all sympathetic emotions, and she was a weapon. A pawn, ready to be used in the Games.
The reaping came and went, she and one other volunteered. Her parents came to visit her, but no tears were shed on her part. She was ready.
Strengths: She's skilled with close range weapons (swords and the like). She's manipulative, and will use other people to her advantage. Talented at acting, she's worked on her interview strategy for months.
Weaknesses: She's prone to scheming against people, so she won't have many allies. She has a terrible temper, so she is easily provoked into combat. And despite all she tries she has a soft spot for younger tributes.
Fear: Being betrayed. A reason she closes herself off and refuses most allies, she always has a fear of trusting someone and waking up to a knife in the gut.

Name: Tristan NiklasAge: 17
Gender: Male
District: District 4
Appearance: He has medium-length light brown hair that curls up at the ends and stops at his ears. His eyes are dark brown. His nose is crooked because he broke it in a fight when he was a little boy and he has a spattering of freckles on his face. He's fairly tall and slightly muscular, although he isn't "buff." He has a huge smile.
Personality: Tristan is very charismatic and he knows it. He tends to use it to his advantage to try and get what he wants. He has a good sense of humor and finds himself laughing a lot, even when the situation is serious and he shouldn't be so easy-going about it. He doesn't let anyone get very close to him, even though he gives off a very friendly vibe.
History: He started training to be a Tribute when he was a young boy. He didn't take his training seriously, until he met a girl he wanted to impress. She was dating a tough guy at the time, so he started trying harder, and when he applied himself, he excelled. He was soon at the top of his group. His older brother died before he was born and he always wanted to know what life with him would have been like.
He was told to volunteer, so he did, but he was terrified out his mind, although he'd never admit that to anyone.
Strengths: He's a very strong swimmer. He can fight well with his bare hands. He's good at making snap judgements in stressful situations.
Weaknesses: He doesn't do well with most weapons. He is very reluctant to kill anyone.
Fears: Having to kill someone he likes.
Name: Mercy LindbloomAge: 16
Gender: Female.
District: Seven.
Appearance:

Mercy is fairly tall and slender--about 5'10". A born climber. She is very pale because she is anemic (http://image1.masterfile.com/em_w/03/...). She's a dreamer, but never voices her thoughts aloud.
Personality: She isn't exactly shy, but she doesn't start conversations. If YOU start a conversation with her, she can keep it going well enough. Especially if you a pick a topic she is passionate about, then she can keep talking. She isn't cold hearted, she is generally nice (or at least acts it), but she feels a sense of loyalty to certain people who come first in her life, and she isn't afraid to pick favorites. She's willing to give people a second chance (which could be a weakness in the Games), but if they fail, she'll kill. She's a fantastic actress and a terrific liar. She can switch her personality from feisty to compliant female instantly if it helped her in a situation. Justice, loyalty and fairness are some traits which fit her.
History: She was involved in a accident which causes her hearing to suffer (more below). Her family is poor, but not destitute. They've always had enough to eat to survive, but only with careful planning and calculated risks. Her father is harsh, and she and him often fight and argue. Her mother is small in spirit when they fight, and it turns the entire day rotten. She is so much like her father--born and raised to face her problems, then like her mother, who runs at the first sign of trouble.
She was beaten if she didn't work hard enough at the lumber farms, or if she zoned out. She zoned out often because she'd either get distracted trying to strain her ears to hear the birds sing, or would daydream.
Strengths: She is an excellent climber, considering she helped harvest tree bark for paper. She's very handy with axes and other handheld pieces of metal or wood. She knows nature to a T, having lived around trees all her life.
Weaknesses: She doesn't have very good hearing, having been involved in a accident by standing too close to a piece of machinery when it broke down. The sound tore at her ears and the heat burnt the edges of her right one. Her dad forced her to quit school at the age of 12. So her reading and arithmetic is mediocre. She has broken her thumb before, and it never mended properly. The injury has become a hinderance and slowed down her natural climbing skills.
Fears: She hates the thought of being tortured and being in an enclosed space.
Name: Blair CooperAge: 17 {born March 28th}
Gender: Female
District: 9 {Grain}
Appearance:

Blair Cooper is well built, or she would have been if fourteen years of working in the factory hadn't worn her down. Blair's general build is short but lean, her height clocking in at around 5'5. Her arms are strong enough but not well muscled. Bones protrude, clearly visible through her dirty skin, revealing the ridges of her backbone and ribs among others. She's not particularly pretty with over exposed cheek bones, thin lips and an unremarkably shaped face. Her general stature is shared with the majority of the district, a fact debatably from the location or simply from the circumstance that most of the district residents are related in one way or another. Worry lines crease her forehead and draw ridges in her eyes, making her appear older and more gaunt then she really is.
Blair's color palate is a wash of earth tones. Her hair, dishwater brown, falls in disheveled waves. She normally wears it loose, letting her tousled mane stay unkept and flyaway. Factory work requires it to be pulled back, however, so stray locks don't get chopped by the whirring blades of grain processing machines. Blair manages some sort of a bun most days, pulling her tawny curls into a loose knot at the base of her neck. Her eyes are similarly colored, but more steel colored then brown and framed in dark eyelashes. Her clothes are the same monotone, all badly mended and covered in grime. Most of her clothing is oversized and hangs off her body in threadbare folds.
Personality: Blair has learned mistrust and fear. They've been pounded into her existence and left as a permanent reminder. She doesn't like to be around people, which is just as well as most people stay clear of her because of her less then sunny reputation. She normally comes across closed and recluse, throwing herself into work to close her mind to the hardships of her life.
She's had to grow up too quickly with the birth of her son, Dorian. Sometimes she longs to be a child again, so that all the worries would leave her shoulders, but she could never give up what she has now. It's that stubborn fire in her, hidden under all the grime that keeps her going, doesn't let her stop living.
Despite her hardened exterior of pain she's tender and loving towards her son, her only bit of joy despite the hardship he brings. She has a motherly streak despite herself and her age. Some part of her mind rebels against the rest and longs to protect the unfortunate children around her. Her overworked and hurried nature gives her an eccentric disposition in spite of her condition.
History: At age four, Blair was entered into the workforce, sliding under the factory machines along side around twenty five others about her age as they unstuck gears and collected spare bits of grain off the floor. Three years later, she was taken out of school completely and joined some twenty odd other seven to nine year olds as they worked full hours at the grain processors that whirred dangerously from five till nine. Blair was the second oldest of seven children born to Ezra and Leona Cooper. They were hard pressed for money and before long, every child of four and up was at the factory.
At age twelve, Blair's name was entered into the reaping 10 times, getting tesserae for all nine members of her family.
It must have been a matter of time before things went down the drain. At age sixteen, Blair got pregnant. It was her own stupid fault, but Peacekeepers pay well for pleasure. Her family found out. It didn't take long, and it took even less for her to be disowned. The baby came, and the father denied little Dorian Cooper's existence. Blair worked longer hours too feed the baby, she got thinner, and she was shamed. It didn't seem like her life could get worse, then she was reaped into the Games herself with 47 slips all with her name on them.
Strengths: Blair is used to being hungry. She has often had to live with little to nothing to eat for days, a fact she never thought would work in her favor until her name was called. This lets her stay hidden for longer without needing to go and find food, however excessive lack of food still renders her week. Blair is inventive out of necessity. She has a talent for taking whats given to her and using it to her advantage.
Weaknesses: Blair has been weakened from years of malnourishment. She wouldn't stand much of a chance in a hand to hand fight, with her veritably small stature and lack of muscles. This also means she can't run as fast or as long as many other tributes. Blair's other main weakness is her unfamiliarly with weapons. She's only ever seen guns on peacekeepers, and that's about the extent of her experience with anything of the sort. She has little to no talent with the majority of weapons offered in the games, and is only minority skilled at using a knife, to the extent of having used it before cutting food and the like. She can only use a knife for cutting plants or firewood.
Fears: Blair fears intimacy. She's afraid to get too close to anyone, because she's been around long enough to know that every one you're close to hurt you the most. She doesn't like to be around people in general and likes forming bonds with them even less.
Other: Has a ten month old son, Dorian Cooper.
Name: Katie LordAge: 17
Gender: F
District: 5
Appearance:
Katie is a slender girl (hourglass looking shape) with a great pretty face. Her hair is blonde like gold made into thin strands that turns a couple of heads, but it requires attention to keep the hair down. She may be skinny, but she's not skin-and-bone like most think she would be.
Personality: Katie's a quiet, well mannered girl that knows how to behave and when. She also loves attention, but she never strives to get it due to her insecurities. Katie's also extremely bold when the adrenaline gets to her.
History: She was born in district 5 in the family of engineers. Although she loved her parents, she hated the fact that they helped the capitol with power. Due to the anger she acted out in school until her parents were worked to death. When they died she tried to kill a peacekeeper that killed her parents, and due to that, she was forced to volunteer for the Hunger Games.
Strengths: She's a mini genius when it comes to use of electricity and defense. She also is resistance to radiation and severe heat due to the heat of the place she worked in. Katie also has knowledge of Capitol technologies
Weaknesses: She's not easily trusting, but she hates to be alone. She also hates to hurt wildlife due to her unfamiliarity with them.
Fears: She's afraid of being killed, and also afraid of getting killed before she's ready.
Other:
Again with details. Us gamemakers, we want to know everything. What makes her tick? Every little detail, everything that could either boost her to the top or be her downfall, we want to know.
In the history, try adding more emotions and things in. Again, look at Hope and I's characters. We try to add as many things as possible. Hope's is four long paragraphs, and mine is five smaller paragraphs. At least go for a little depth.

As for your strengths, they make no sense. No District has knowledge of the Capitol, not even Three--and certainly not Five. And Taylor, high exposure to radiation would result in sickness, not tolerance. The heat one I can live with, but electrical defense? What does that mean? You've given us no details in the history, therefore I can hardly accept these strengths even after nitpicking them.
Name: Brielle Jasther
Age: 14 [May 17th]
Gender:Female
District:3
Appearance: http://hungergamesdwtc.net/wp-content... Red hair, dark eyes, average height. Smiles frequently, has freckles. Though fed well, she's always wanting more. Some may consider her beautiful, but when someone compliments her, she'll laugh. She has very long eyelashes, and her bangs usually cover her eyes anyway.
Personality: Brielle was never the happiest girl, with her parents both dead it was worse. Though surprising, her best friend is the mayor's daughter (Natalya), and she's generally happy when Natalya is around. Most people would say she's happy, bright, and very kind. No one knows the pain at her own house, and no one seems to care. If you were to really know her, you'd see her dark thoughts and how she despises those who do nothing about the hurt. No one ever sees this side of her, she doesn't trust anyone. Even teachers and employers would describe her up beat, joyous, and smiley. Everyone does know how her parents died, and some treat her handicapped, and she hates it.
History: Brielle's mother became very, extremely ill when she was only 13. Within weeks, she became housebound, and Brille had to work in the factories even longer to make up for her mother's absence. Her father was killed in the war, and Brielle had been devestated when it happened, so when her mother fell ill, she was on the verge of appalactic shock. After 3 months, her mother died. She decided to block all of the memory out-it was too painful overall and chose to push it to the back of her mind. She wouldn't let herself think of the war and her past, now it was all looking to the future. Brielle was quickly sent to her aunt and uncle, who were careless and drunk when they could get their hands on a bottle. Her cousins, Brad and Lisa, are twins (age 13) and look up to Brielle immensely. Brielle cooks, cleans, and is responsible for the twins, and is proud of it. Not many 14 year olds in District 3 have such a heavy responsibility, many couples only have 1 child, maybe 2 at the most. When it comes to it, Brielle would rather volunteer to be in the Hunger Games than put a child in there, do to her own selfishness(by having kids). Now she goes to school for 4 hours, than works for another 5 hrs, and while at home, she acts as a caretaker and a maid. Her aunt and uncle beat Brielle, but she doesn't let them touch the twins. She's learned to fight back somewhat, just in self defense. She would never think of going to the community home-too sad, depressing, and hurtful. So she toughs it out, just for the twins.
Strengths: Brielle knows how to defend herself, basic things anyone knows, kicking in the right places, running, ducking, anything along those lines. She can orchestrate her thoughts clearly, though sometimes seem far fetched, they are smart and simple. She's also learned to question everything and trust no one but herself (not including the twins).
Weaknesses: She questions everything and everyone, which leads her to trusting no one. Some may consider this a strength, but she's seen the danger in it. She'll get so distracted away from what she really needs to do by thinking about war, and why it all started, and whatnot. She cannot simply appreciate or accept anything-everyone, in her mind, must have some angle. So she takes no charity, what so ever. Her other weakness is younger children being neglected, so when she sees a younger child being beaten she is tempted with helping in some way. She's aware the danger of being nice.
Fears: Her fear is illness-though she knows how to care for sick, she hates it because it's how her mother died. Her biggest fear, though, is another war. It was horrid and ruined her life.
Other: On the day of the reaping, Brielle was out of it. Talking the twins through it for the second time. When a small 12 year old was called, you could tell she was ill and weak. You could hear her mother and father's desperate cries, the girl looking around innocently. Brielle could not stand it. The words, "NO! I...I'll do it...I'll volunteer. I'll be tribute," came out of her mouth, and she could hear Lisa's shallow breathes from beside her. As she walked to the middle, she could hear mumblings. She let the peace keepers take her up the way, as she began a journey that one had never been on before: the first Hunger Games. *She was terribly frightened, but stayed calm and gracious.

Name: Autumn LatentesAge: 14
Gender: Female
District: 12
Appearance: Autumn has an innocent look about her face that is filled with hurt and anguish. There are always black streaks that cover her thin cheeks and her lips has lost most of her red sheen and is now a light shade of pink. Dirty blonde hair flows down her back with streaks of lighter shades combining into it. Her eyes are a chocolaty brown covered by dark eyebrows that almost always seemed to be scrunched together in a question of why? Aumumn usually doesn't have a lot to wear, so there are many patches sewn throughout her blue shirt and brown shorts which cover her bones that were usually poking out of her sides from lack of food. There are hardly any shoes available here, so she often wears bare-feet, except for some dress shoes her mother had bought her for her eleventh birthday, right before her mother died. They're a little tight, but she tries to squeeze into them as best as she can.
(view spoiler)
Personality: Autumn is scared. With her outward shell of smiles that might put most people into thinking she's okay, she's really not. If you look closely, it's written on her face, yet most people refuse to see it. She knows what pain feels like and hates to go near it. Even the thought of the Hunger Games sends her into nightmares at night, mostly of her getting picked one day. She always thinks before she acts, which even saved her life once and her younger brother admires about her. Autumn also is always hungry, but sometimes refuses to eat. She knows how scarce food can be in this district and is always giving food up for her little brother, trying to keep him strong. When there is pain being afflicted on anyone or anywhere, she hides. And that is her natural instinct, to hide.
History: Autumn was born in coal dust, and has lived in coal dust her entire life. There are always streaks of black found on her face, which is normal for where she lives. She grew up being abused by her father. Autumn always had her suspicions of why he would beat her and leave her outside without food for days at a time, she thinks it was because he blames her for her mother's death. When Autumn was only eleven years old and her little brother, Stock, was eight years old, their mother caught a sickness that had been spreading around their district. It eventually caused her to die and they were forced to bury her with a number of other bodies in the same hold, since the ground was frozen during the winter season. Autumn's father had to take out his anger somewhere, and she seemed to be the closest thing he had. He wouldn't abuse his own son because Stock was going to eventually inherit the farm after he died. Soon after, he began drinking as well and Autumn was always comforting Stock, telling him it's okay while one of her eyes was swollen shut from a punch he'd given her.
She'd always run away into the field with Stock when their father was drinking and Autumn would tell him stories of what their mother was like before she died. Since Stock was young, he only vaguely remembered her at all. It eventually turned into a game for him, ...run from daddy, run so he doesn't find you and can't hurt you anymore... and they did. But they were eventually forced to go back because he was their only way to get food, even if he gave them any in the first place.
Strengths: She doesn't have a lot of strengths. Coming from district 12, it's almost a guarantee that she'll loose, but she's determined to use her best tactic, to hide. Of course, she's smart and will try and hide that skill as much as possible until it is needed. Keeping secrets is also one of her best talents. Her brother, Stock, hardly knew that she was beat, because Autumn was very good at covering up the bruises. Also, being so small, she can be very quick on her feet as well, which gives a great advantage when climbming trees.
Weaknesses: Food. She rarely ever sees food, and if she does, it usually ends up going to her younger brother, which makes it all the more valuable to her. She is also very weak physically. Growing up on basically nothing, she has to rest frequently so she doesn't use up her strength too fast because she knows that if she collapsed, she won't get back up.
Fears: She has a great fear of drinkers. Autumn knows what can happen to them if they do, so she stays away from them as much as possible. Also, people who want to hurt her. She's been abused too much in her life and has nightmares almost every night.
Other: Autumn was named this because she was born in that season.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
Name: Dylan JethingsGender: Male
Age: 17
District: 9
Appearance:
Dylan is about 6 ft 1 in tall. He is slightly muscular but still light weight for his size due to lack of food. But he's still strong. His hands are rough from years of working in the fields and he seems to have a permanent scowl on his face.Personality: He's very untrustworthy of people. It takes a while for him to earn a person's trust, but he knows that is neccessary for him to make allies at the games. He tends to be very quiet, never having too much to say. Though he is not shy. Dylan simply chooses not to talk to people unless necessary. There is a difference. Over the years Dylan has learned to keep his temper in check because yelling doesn't solve anything. He is also very responsible and knows how to ration his supplies. Dylan is extremely intelligent though and can adapt quickly indifficult situations. He's kind, loyal, and fair towards people though, a major weakness for the games.
History: Dylan was orphaned at the age of 7. His parents died from a mysterious illness. Since then he has been forced to work in the fields. He lives in a small, shabby house provided by his district that he shares with other orphans. The house was very crowded, but the people living there were a family. When they all heard Dylan's name get picked, there was devestation throughout all the household members. Other than Dylan's 'brothers and sisters' he wasn't close to anyone else, except Annie who was the 'mother' of the orphanage house. He'd always help her out by taking care of the other kids, or cooking. Annie was the mother he never had. When she visited him she gave him her simple, woven, light brown bracelet for his token.
Strengths: He is very good with knives, like small daggers and if he gets his hand on a machete then no one shall survive. He is also very intelligent, he has something called photographic memory. The talent of daggers comes from a game he and his friends would play when they were younger. Instead of daggers they used small rocks though. They would normally gather many small, long rocks and have a make shift target. Whoever hit the center, or closest to the center, won. They played this at an alley in the back of the foster home. Dylan excelled rapidly at this game as a child. Soon when they began to use long stalks of grass that grew near the fields and he was able to hit those too by the time he was 11.
Weakness: He can be extremely loyal once he makes a friend/ally making it hard for him to kill them later on. He's deaf in his right ear.
Fear: He is afraid of how his 'family' will survive without him. Because of this Dylan is determined to fight and win.
Other: This is his token-> (view spoiler)["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
Name: James Carney
Age: 18
Gender: Male
District: 2
Appearance:

James has blonde hair - some might consider it dark blonde - and light skin, like most people in his district (as implied in the books, considering Cato and Clove's reasonably fair skin and Cato's light hair; also, if they lived in a wealthier district, then they would spend less time working out in the sun, like, for example, District 11, whose skin is darker from their work and climate). His eyes are a hazel; can be considered either green or brown, and they are usually filled with rage and drive to win. He's tall, at full height he's 6'4", which adds to the intimidating career part. He's fit and muscled from days and months and years of training, both to become a peacekeeper and for the Hunger Games. He is good-looking, and with the stylists from the Capitol, this could just get him sponsors. He's also physically strong, which shows somewhat and gives him an intimidating air.
Personality: Quite honestly, coming from District 2 could make anyone tough. They train you hard there, especially if you're male. Since James is both male and from District 2, he has been worked hard his entire life, for both the Games and in order to be a Peacekeeper when he's older (in his case, one year, if he survives the Games). He's strong, physically and mentally, to some degree, because in District 2 they're raised to survive, fight, and kill. It's enough to drive anyone mad, James just hasn't reached that point yet. He's a big egotistical and is quite full of himself, because he is one of the top fighters of his age group back in District 2, and sometimes has a hard time keeping that in check. It's really very easy for him to overestimate himself, and he's very self-righteous. On the better side of that, he's very confident in himself, which could help him win. Confidence is always a good trait to have in the Arena - it could keep you alive, and it could get you sponsors. He's very driven and determined, and he wants to bring pride to his District. If he dies in the Games, then he will have been a humiliation and dishonor to his District, even in his death, because he's from District 2 and he should've won. He's a very proud person, and aims to please. However, sometimes it is hard for him to keep his anger in check, and that's the main thing he's struggled with in his training. Sometimes he gets going and can't stop himself, which could be part of the District 2 training madness. He is brash through nature, brash and harsh and intimidating. However, he can be charming and gentlemanly when he wants to be, and can completely change into a different person in a second.
History: He was born an only child to a District 2 Peacekeeper and a lawyer. From an early age, he was trained to be able to win the Games, and when he turned sixteen, he began training to be a Peacekeeper. He didn't have many friends - in District 2 there are allies, not friends - and honestly, he didn't want friends and no one really wanted to be his friend. When he was thirteen he met a girl, Enna Sterling, who was a year younger than him and was one of the only people who could keep him in line. She'd tease him and challenge him and question him, and when he was angry she could calm him and she could snap him out of it when needed. They had something in common - they both were strongest in their age group, and it actually led to Enna being bumped up one. They never dated, or were "together," per say, but it was kind of obvious that they cared very deeply for each other and loved each other. Very soon after Enna's seventeenth birthday, she fell into a coma and the doctors couldn't figure out why. Two days later, she died, and she's James's biggest regret - he never really got to say goodbye. Figures that she - one of the strongest seventeen-year-olds in District 2 - would die because of an illness. He'd be sure she'd outlive him by a long time. In his despair, he threw himself wholeheartedly into his training, and became a more ruthless fighter, nearing closer to that madness. When the Reaping rolled around, he volunteered immediately - he needed something to occupy himself with, and this way he would bring honor to his district and make them proud of him.
Strengths: Of course, one of his advantages is his physical strength. He's a fairly big guy and could use just brute strength to take someone out. He's also had training all his life, both to be a ruthless killer and to be a strict Peacekeeper. His third strength is his charm and appearance, which could easily get him more sponsors from the Capitol.
Weaknesses: For starters, he thinks he can do everything by himself. He'll only make allies to kill them off in the end, not because he actually wants his help. Secondly, he's very distrusting. He's paranoid and can take anything in the wrong way. Thirdly, his mental strength. He may be smart, but he's nearing to madness from incessant training. Even if he is strong, he's not always the quickest, per say. He's not exactly particularly "slow," but significantly enough in comparison to other careers, etc. After an accident in which he broke most of his (right hand) fingers and right wrist, it made it harder for him to use his right (and dominant) hand, and thus is sometimes forced to use his non-dominant hand.
Fears: He's afraid of failing his district, he's afraid that Enna wouldn't approve of who he is and who he's become, he's afraid of death, he's afraid of real, true physical pain (heaven knows he's been through emotional), and he's afraid of not being the best.

Name: Kim Savash
Age: 16
Gender: Female
District: 6 - transportation
Appearance: Despite the fact that she likes the feel of her dark hair flying down by her shoulders, Kim pulls it up for most of the day. She’s a strong girl, considering how short and slim she appears next to other girls her age. But then again, the people from her district aren’t particularly strong. She isn’t usually seen in much more than the clothes she wore the day before, always pretty casual and loose. Though for special occasions, she does try a little harder to dress up, despite the fact that she rolls her eyes at those who care too much about looks. Whenever she’s not at the factory, she’s most probably out on a walk near whatever countryside she can find. It annoys her mother to see the scuffs on her daughters jeans when she returns home. Despite this, she repeats it all again the next day and slips out of it by giving her an innocent smile which took years to bring to perfection. A small stretch of her lower lip and a single blink from her deep blue eyes gives it just the right look. http://www.google.com.mt/imgres?um=1&...
Personality: She enjoys winning, and secretly smirks about her victories while nobody’s looking. She’s a pretty shy girl, and a very good actress. Give her enough time and she‘ll be able to convince someone that the person living next door to them is a wanted criminal. It’s something she thought herself to do and something she secretly takes pride in. She believes she’s a quick learner thanks to the fact that she’s a pretty smart girl. Since she’s modest, she’d never openly mention it. However, if asked about it, she won’t lie, either. She tends to blush a lot, and thinks that her voice is pretty good, but has learnt that a voice won’t get you anywhere in this world, so she keeps her mouth shut. The world of inner workings of anything technical or intelligent is one of the most interesting things she can think of for her, and tinkering with things like that is one of her specialties. She may be shy, but she has a loud opinion. If she doesn’t like something, she’ll speak up about it. However, she has enough sense to shut up about things when it’s not time for them to pop up. She gets overprotective over the ones she loves, probably something she learnt from her brother. She looks up to him so much, it’s a relationship which no one can put into words. Unfortunately, though her brother is just past the age which the Hunger Games allow. Otherwise, he might have even done something like try to fake being a girl just to get his little sister out of it and go in himself. Kim enjoys going on long walks after the factory work. Though she does manage to squeeze in time for chores… Despite her passionate hate towards them.
History: Put into the factory to work at a very young age, Kim didn’t actually seem to mind. When she was young, she’d see her brother there working in other aisles often, and these sort of things were something she took interest in and enjoyed. So being forced into all that wasn’t the worst part of her childhood. In fact, she believes that she gets her good brain from experiences there. The worst part of her childhood was having to grow up without any parents. Her brother keeps on telling her that he’ll explain the story of where they are to her when she’s older. She’s been hearing that for 16 years and it sometimes makes her upset. And that topic would be the only reason that her and her brother ever fought. The fact that she doesn’t have the talent of working too well with others ( which most of her district does ) doesn’t help when it comes to conversations like that. She asks him about it at least once every month, and only doesn’t ask more because of her fear of where the conversation may end. Fighting with her brother for a few minuets can literally lead to days of her feeling unhappy.
Strengths: Kim is a smart girl, and that’s what she believes is her main advantage. She makes up her own strategies and can twist her words into believable lies. She’s a little stronger than those from her own district, though not nearly as strong as those from the higher districts. Just strong enough to climb a tree in a reasonable amount of time. Something she thinks she’s picked up from working at the factory so much is her ability to tinker and toy with devices. Another thing she’s proud of is the fact that she’s an extremely convincible actress. It’s a skill which she enjoys using when it comes to maneuvering her way out of the things she dislikes and into the things she enjoys doing.
Weaknesses: She fears that something which will get in her way is her inability to do much with any sort of weapon. She hasn’t had any training of any kind with any sword, spear, dagger or any kind of weapon. And even if her knowledge allows her to build or carve something up on the spot, then she’ll have trouble using it. Another weakness which itches at the back of her mind is that she knows that she’s not as strong as anyone else who’s probably going to be put into the games. Her frequent walks help a lot, and are the main reason which leaves her stronger than most others from her district. Despite this, she knows that if she stumbles into a hands-on fight, then there’s a big chance she won’t make it out.
Fears: The main thing she’s afraid of is any harm coming to her brother. Though something which she knows is going to hold her back alongside her weaknesses is her fear of killing someone she’d grow close to. That’s why she plans to stay well away from making any friends. She knows she’ll break down crying quickly as soon as their faces flash on the sky, and that won’t earn her any bonus points for the public.
Other: Her brother gave her the district token she’s decided to take into the arena with her. Looking at it reminds her of him, and that will always place a little more will strength into her system. Just picturing her brothers expression of she didn’t make it out and swapping the situation can make her want to burst into tears. Each coin on the bracelet represents a memory her and her brother shared together. Here’s what the token looks like, http://www.google.com.mt/imgres?um=1&...

Personality: Ender is an extremely determined person. He is ver intelligent, but is also physically strong, and hates being underestimated. He can come off as a little cold and hostile at first, but is really kind hearted. Ender isn't the most social person, but is willing to help those in need. He is not very trusting but once you've gained his trust, you keep it. It's best to keep on his good side though, because he tends to hold grudges.
History: Ender grew up as an only child and was raised by a mother and father never really took any notice of him. He was a very bright child and excelled in school, which made him well liked by teacher and other adults, but not other students. Ender was bullied a lot by other kids and was completely ignored when he tried to tell his parents. They showed him off to their friends like some kind of trophy, carefully covering up all of the black eyes and bruises. As he got older, he began taking things into his own hands and training in private. Ender learned to hold his own in a fight and soon became the person that the bullies stayed far away from.
Strengths: He's quick thinking and has a fantastic memory. He isn't easily intimidated and likes a challenge.
Weaknesses: He is always eager to prove himself which means he has a tendency to rush into things too quickly. He can be extremely protective of people he cares about, which may put his own life at risk.

Cooper has been known to be a rebel and occasionally speaks out against the Capitol, but is always silenced.

Name: Jois Paravet (Zwah Pah-rah-vay)Age: 17
Gender: Male
District: 8
Appearance: [image error]
Do not judge him just based on the expensive clothing it appears he wears. You might notice the hold in back patched with extra fabric or the missing buttons on the jacket. This is because he makes all his clothing from scraps and rejects he finds around the sewing mills. He prefers usability to fashion and stuffs all his made shirts with wool and cotton to make them warmer. He's more along the lines of wiry than built or scrawny from lifting the fabric rolls onto machines and lifting the gears to repair them. He knows how to climb fairly well from ladders to reach the second levels and from clibming the machines to the top to figure out what's wrong.
Personality: Not exactly the most open kid in the bunch, Jois was hard to make friends with. He didn't open up to people; nobody knew who he was in town. That doesn't mean he didn't do anything though. The most dangerous assignments were usually given to him because he didn't care. He would climb the machines to pull the thread off a gear. He would put his hand in the fabric as it was being pulled in a machine to pull out a pair of scissors. And he pushed the little girl out of the way when a machine launched a roll of fabric straight at her.
Most people don't know this side of his personality.
They usually just see the quiet kid in the back of the factory making sweaters and parachute pants for the capital while stuffing his pockets with the scraps.
If he had a choice between chess and sports, he would choose chess. He was a strategist at heart and had beaten most of the other district senior members already. His favorite move involved sacrificing his queen in order to checkmate.
History: When Jois first started working in the factories, he wasn't very good. He sewed a shoe to his left hand once. It healed up fairly well, but he hasn't had feeling there as much ever since. He could still use it, but he couldn't feel any pain there. He also cut off the tip of his left hand pinky. He didn't notice til a person remarked how the fabric had changed from white to red.
At the age of fourteen, he was one of the best knitters in the group, surpassing a few of the older ladies. No one could touch his needlework or anything involving a needle and thread by the age of sixteen. He was flawless with it. It didn't get him attention since he was around some of the world's best sewers, but it mattered a lot to him and he kept it.
This year a small boy by the name of Zecheriah Vivre was chosen. He knew Zecheriah. He was a nice boy who was always helpful. He also knew that he had recently cut h hand bad and was sick. As he was being pulled up there by Peacekeepers, Jois raised his hand. He needed to help out his District one last time... and so he was thrown into the Hunger Games of his own free will.
Strengths:
-Trap-making. He can sew like no other and can therefore tie knots in even the smallest thread, making traps and leaf covers for said traps.
-Clothing-making: An expert with his hands, he can make almost any type of helpful cover or clothing.
-Strategy: As a superb chess-player, he will usually be two or three steps ahead of an enemey. If he's part of an alliance, he will be wonderful at taking out enemy teams.
Weaknesses:
-To get a team together, he'd have to talk... he doesn't like talking to people and gets shy easily. It'll also be hard for him to get people to support him.
-He still has little feeling in his left hand and has to check it constantly. He could miss a major infection if it got cut without his knowledge, leading to illness or death.
Fears: He fears public speaking above all due to his shyness so it will be nearly impossible for him to get sponsors by talking. His mentor and his own actions will have to do the talking for him.
Other: His token is a chess piece, the white king to be specific which he has sewn into a special pouch in his clothing so it won't fall out during the games.
Name: William BlakeAge: 16
Gender:male
District:10
Appearance: Will is tall and strong. He has dark dirty blonde hair and gray-green eyes. He is not very tall, but not short either.
Personality: Will is quite shy, even though he looks so strong. He is also very quiet and is almost never seen smiling or talking. He is known as the person that hangs back. He rarely socializes.
He is very calm and is never seen as mad. He tends to hold in his emotions.
History: Will is very close to his sisters. They are all a year apart. His mother died when he was seven and his sixth sister was born. She was very small and ended up dying the next year of a disease that swept through the district. He was the one that cared for her, so he felt like it was his fault she died. He has been very quiet and withdrawn ever since she died.
Will works alongside his oldest sister Sam and his father raising cattle. The cattle they raise are about the best in the district. Will is said to have a thing with animals, being able to calm them down and such, but he doesn't believe it.
Strengths: Will is very strong and muscular, he also is good with animals.
Weaknesses: Will cannot swim, nor run very fast.
Fears: Will fears of being the source of a death, he doesn't want to kill anyone.

Name: Thanon Willowroot
Age: Sixteen
Gender: Male
District: Eleven
Appearance: Do not consider Thanon to be identical to Thresh, the Disctrict Eleven tribute from the book. While he does share the same dark features and even the same first letter of his first name, that is where the similarities end. Thanon, while decently tall, is not huge. This teenager is lean and agile, much like a cat. He has dark brown skin and chocolate eyes. Thanon's black hair is cut short, and his hands are calloused from working in the fields. He appears to be older than his sixteen years- most people at first think Thanon is eighteen or nineteen.
Personality and History (when I was writing them they sortof flowed together naturally, so I just combined the categories):
Thanon wants to fight.
But not for the reason you think.
Thanon desires for a chance to win the Hunger Games, and therefore bring happiness to his district through all the presents they would receive- grain, oil, even some sugar. He knows there will be other boys in the arena much stronger and deadlier than him. But he also knows that they won't be able to outsmart him. His whole life, Thanon has relied on his intelligence and quick-thinking to survive in the harshest district of them all. He is surprisingly affectionate for a teenager guy- his family is his life- but he hides this behind an exterior of wit and calm. Thanon has perfected the art of holding a straight face, even while being forced to watch his mother whipped. Yet this does not disperse the anger this teenager has at the Capitol and the Peacekeepers of his district.
Strengths: Thanon, as I mentioned before, is intelligent and a quick-thinker. He also is fantastic around plants, whether it be identifying the edible ones or simply scaling a tall tree.
Weaknesses: He has no skill with any kind of weapon, and is not as strong as the Career boys due to lack of food. Thanon also has a huge fear of tracker jackers, causing him to flee in the opposite direction if one is spotted.
Fears: Do not mention the words "tracker jacker" around Thanon. Ever since he was stung by one while working in the orchards as a child, this boy has beem terrified of the deadly creatures. If you think about it, though, anybody with a head on their shoulders should be wary of tracker jackers. They're not insects to be toyed with.
Other: Thanon's token is a small tree roughly carved out of wood. It is to remind him of home, and everything he is fighting for- especially because his younger brother made it for him.

Is this charater ok to be in role play????
All right, Sarah. First things first: have you even read the group's rules? Your spelling and grammar really says otherwise. Check there first, if you would. There are a lot of mistakes in your outline.Secondly: have you read the list of tributes? Looked at the outline on the first post of this page? Your sheet says otherwise. First of all, the girl for Twelve is already taken--I'm not even sure if we have any spots open. Not to mention you haven't even met any of the criteria for history or personality or appearance.
Get back to me once you fix these things, post here with questions if you have any.
I am so sorry. I am not that good of a speller. I really did try. I will try my best to fix everything. I feel so embarssed. Ill really try.
its ok I dont have to be in the role play. I like to write things so im glad that you gave me good feedback. I am also writing a story. I wrote a little bit of it. And i would like to get your opion about it. Would you want to do that???

Would only ally with someone if he was going to backstab them later.
History: His parents have trained him to kill since he was 5. His two other siblings volunteered for earlier games and died in the process. His parents act like getting picked for the Games is a huge honor and all and if he doesn't get picked he's a complete idiot.
