District Six's industry is transportation. It is assumed that there are many factories, each specializing in the production of certain parts for certain craft, like trains or hovercraft. Children from this district start their work young, heading to the factories to work long hours. Tributes from this district usually place low during the Hunger Games, leading us to believe they are poorly prepared.
