District Three's industry is technology. Children here start their work young, in 3's many factories, working as either engineers or even (for brighter citizens) inventors. It is assumed that the district is majorly urban, with little plant life--leading for District 3's tributes to be at a disadvantage. Citizens of District 3 are said to live in abject poverty and tributes from here generally place low in the Games, leading us to believe the tributes are unready to fight.
