Did you like the cast for The Hunger Games film adaption? Why or why not? Who did you like/dislike? Tell us all about it here.

I didn't like Gale, Peeta was a little older than I thought he should've looked, bur Cato and Clove and Glimmer and the Capitol people (especially Seneca)...can you say FANTASTIC?


I thought Foxface was amazing, of course. Both in acting and looks.

I thought they did amazing! Peeta was too muscular, but what is the matter with that? I have to say, I LOVED Seneca Crane's beard! Best thing ever!

Flame, I have to disagree. Cinna was perfect. Gale wasn't that great, I can agree with that. But Snow? Snow is amazing. I honestly didn't like Katniss that much. She looked the part, but I didn't get as much emotion from her as I would have wanted.

The actor looked like Snow even before he was made up. I remeber when I first saw his picture and I said, "It's President Snow!"

I think they casted Katniss perfectly, simply because she was a strong, silent type in the book. Cinna was fantastic. LOVE HIM. Gale...well, he didn't really do much, so I don't know what to really say. =P Peeta...I could see it working.

Cato. Was HAWT. Haha, I loved all of the Careers (as I keep saying).

Frankly, I don't like Liam Hemsworth as Gale. I always pictured him black or Native American, for some reason. I liked Peeta, didn't like Cinna at first but grew to love him. Lenny Cravtiz did great.

Really? He looked like I picture him, but he didn't act like I imagined exactly. But he was close-ish. *shrugs*

AHH. LENNY KRAVITZ. Cool 80's dude.

Jennifer Lawrence was amazing as Katniss in my opinion. I feel like she embodied the character well.

Say what you will, I'm very biased because I love all the actors and I know quite a few CD's (casting directors) and their job is one of the hardest. (I'm an actress, not like IMDb profile, but I did just get an agent). Plus, if you read the articles I did, Suzanne Collins said every one was perfect for each role. The main let down wasn't an actor: it was the fact they didn't make Haymitch drunk enough. Like really, he's a drunk idiot until they sit down and say "suck it up and be our mentor, stay sober, HELP US" in the book, but that never really happened in the movie...

That's true, Prim. Mom and I were frustrated about that.

Am I the only one here who doesn't keep track of all the actors/actresses/celebrities and their lives/credits?

I'm like, obsessed with IMDb. I make it a point to memorize actors and actresses, so no. I'm just insane ;). I take note of who I want to be like one day, like Josh Hutcherson (Peeta) has been in sooooo many movies, it's crazy! He works a lot, so I look up to him and it's my goal to be in that much stuff.

He just never got the whole, "You are supposed to help us, so stop freaking drinking all the time and get you ass up and HELP US" talk. :( because, of course, HE WASN"T DRUNK enough. *sigh* Oh well.

That was prob the biggest let down of the movie, because Ross (director) could've just said, "Be drunker. We want to see you're NevEr sober." And it wouldn't have taken more time in the actual movie...

And Josh...well I didn't think he was good for Peeta at all really. HIS BROWN EYES, killed me. (:

I thought the entire cast was just spot on. I think the casting directors did a wonderful job with it. Jennifer Lawerence was Katniss. Enough said.

Well he was described as very strong in the book and from all the heavy lifting he had to do I could see why it was like that if you get what I mean.

Wow, I didn't even remember that until now. But it could have ended up differently. They could have decided that they didn't want to switch hair color, I wonder how you would have responded to that. S:)

I thought the rest of the cast was quite spectacular though. But as I am, I will always find something I don't fancy. :P But I'm not saying I could do any better either.

Don't mention Effie's hair either, because that rag of curls was most definitely not Orange.

I really liked Cinna(: The Gold Eye Liner warmed my stony heart.
