Who are you and who are your favorite women authors? What books would you like the group to explore?

Crystal Smith (AchillesEffect) | 3 comments My name is Crystal Smith and I am an author myself. I recently re-read The Stone Angel by Margaret Laurence and loved it. That led me to The Diviners, which I also thought was excellent. I tend to read more non-fiction, and a lot about gender stereotyping and other issues surrounding gender. Not sure if those books are of interest here, but I have a few titles that I could suggest. Thanks for inviting me to the group!

Yes, non-fiction is welcome here. I want to learn about gender issues to aid in my understanding of women's literature. I would love to hear your suggestions. I just finished reviewing Gloria Feldt's book No Excuses, and I plan to read Reviving Ophelia and Pledged at some point.

Jessa Callaver (jessa_callaver) | 4 comments Hi. Sorry it's taken so long to join but I finally made it *phew*

I'm an author with a wide array of cross-genre lit interests so I hope I can suggest something you'll like.
