Cerridwen (allantiabooks) What did you think of the books Crank, Glass, and Impulse? I found them to be great books but they get pretty intense as most of Hopkins books do. They are really good books but I don't see myself reading them again...

Gerrgle | 4 comments Crank and Glass have been two of my favorites since I have read them, and was happy to find out that there was a third, and finale, book out. Crank and Glass are great because it shows what it's like to go through things like Kristina did and yet you have to sympathize with her. Then comes Fallout and it's like the whole book wants you to hate Kristina, even though you've read and experienced a good bit of her life previously. Fallout shows what it's like to be on the other side of addiction, the side that is affected from the person who is addicted. And the fact that we get get to view Kristina's family and life from her view and her family's view brings light to some of the happenings in any addicts family.
All in all; fantastic trilogy and fantastic author.

Linsey I loved the entire Crank book series. I remember when I first checked out Crank from the library. I didn't think I would like it because I had never read a book that was done entirely in prose writing. Little did I know I loved the book and wound up reading the rest of the books by Ellen Hopkins as they came out. I have read them all except for her most recent book release. I love the Ellen Hopkins books.
