Have you ever walked by people and they stare at you like your from another planet? Do they judge you by what you wear or how you look? Are you judged because of your religion?

Well, not really. i am gay but I found out that people love me and like me better because of it.

But my mom is giving me a hard time because she thinks I am immoral and dirty for being gay and because I have H*V and it makes me feel so bad because other people care and love me despite my situation but my own family is disgusted with me.

Good thing I am strong and I am striving hard to be a great writer despite the lack of support from my own kin.

I'm judged based on what I wear. Nowdays, it's considered "uncool" to wear jeans and a top and now it's tight miniskirts and killer high heels a.k.a torture devices. I mean, there's nothing wrong with that, but self respect is important and many people's self respect just goes out the window.

My clothes are apparently too casual and I wear too much make-up (mainly around the eyes).

Does this happen to other people? What do you think people judge you because of?

I get a lot of that too. I totally agree with what you said. I also get judged, because of a lot if the music I listen to. It's not mainstream so people don't like it. They say its dumb or doesn't sound good, but they just don't give it a chance.

I wear old-fashioned dresses and really long skirts nearly everywhere I go except for the dresses, I try to be more normal with the skirts and I often wear really cute blouses with them...it's a perfect combo.

I've got a pixie cut and wear different clothes. I'm a sweet looking, fun girl who used to cut and still listens to screamo. I have two halves, and I have been crushed like a bug in life. I'm also very lucky. I'm judged because I look like a perfect person, and I'm not.

I am nothing like them so I'm judged, for everyhting
