"Wow, this is gloomy." Florence said putting down his single backpack entering the maze of dormitory hallways. "Tell me about it." said a voice from behind. Florence turned around to the familiar but distant voice."Caleb" he said with both relief and recognition.
"What's up man?" Caleb responded walking up to Florence.
"It's been awhile since you made contact." Florence responded with reserved criticism mixed with blunt fact. He looked at his rags.
"Yeah I know."
"You look like sh*t" Florence let go.
Caleb laughed a carefree laugh that relinquished the tense awkwardness that surrounded them. "Yeah I know."
"How long?" Florence pressed.
"Altogether? About 50 something. I didn't really keep track. Visited India 19 somewhat years though. Only a bit."
"Looks like you've been out of the game. You and your third world countries." he said jokingly. He continued, "You've missed a lot. But nothing too important."
"It's never important."
"Yeah, but you would be amazed what these hu- you'd be amazed what has came about these past er- years."
"I wouldn't bet against it. How's your sister?"
"She is who she is. Eudora is as she has always been. She's been fighting through."
"Like the rest of us I imagine."
"Mmmhmm..." Florence said absentmindedly, thinking about changing the topic from his troubled sister. "She's here." he said finally.
"Oh really? Does that mean I finally get to meet her? What an honor!" he said sarcastically.
Florence rolled his eyes and smiled.
"You finally earned it." Florence said playing along. "Well here's my room. I better go unpack."
"Like you have anything to unpack" Caleb said sarcastically.
"You should talk. You never hold on to things."
"Material things are useless." Caleb responded in a matter of fact tone. "Well see, ya then." he said and gave a small salute before turning into his own dorm one door down.
Shana looked around at the dim hallway. "What the fuck is this place."
"Detention! No foul words."
She spun around and faced her friend, Courtney. "Why are you here?"
Courtney giggled and hugged her. "It's nice to see you two, Shana. Anyway, I'm here because I'll be studying here. You?"
"I'll also be here." Shana said. "Is he..."
"Tristan?" Courtney said casually picking on her nails. "Yeah, he came with me. You know we're a team."
"I'm your kin. You know that, right?" Shana emphasized the word 'kin'.
"Uh-huh," Courtney shrugged. "Oh, I forgot. Your dorm is next to Tristan. Good luck with that, babe." she walked off. "See you around."
Shana shook her head and went inside her dorm.

Tristan walked along the hallway looking for Courtney. She just left him there. He looked at the paper. "Room...004." he walked and stopped towards the door with the number 004. He was going inside when the next door opened and Shana came out. He froze and she stared at him with longing and regret.
"Tristan..." she called but Tristan went inside and slammed the door.
He threw his bag on the side of the bed and plopped down putting his arm on his eyes. "What the hell is she doing here..."

Caleb, Florence, and Sophie walked down the hall to their dorms. Sophie quickly peeled into her room without another word. Caleb continued down the hall with Florence. He noticed the dorms around him became occupied. He had been 001. Florence was next door at 002. "She's a little weird." Florence said as he walked ahead. "Sorry. Thanks for trying though, man. See you." he said going into his room. Caleb stayed behind. Across from 004. He looked at Sophie's door and pressed his lips. He sighed then continued walking to his dorm.
Courtney walked along the hallway towards Tristan's room. Her shirt has streaks of blood from the human body she had buried earlier.
Caleb continued towards his dorm. He heard someone coming down the hall. He turned around and saw a girl making her way toward him. Her face was down, probably in deep thought. Distracted. Caleb walked infront of her. She almost walked into him. He looked at her with a blank expression. He cocked his head after he looked her down and noticed the blood on her legs
Courtney glared at the one who bumped her and then frowned. Okay, she was at fault. "Oh, sorry."
Caleb stared at her for a moment. She seemed sad. Not started. Not scared. Despite how she had presented herself, covered in blood. "Are you alright?" he said after a moment.
"I'm alright." she grinned. "This isn't mine." she picked at her shirt. Damn, this is expensive. "Think it'll come off?"
He gave her a look. "I don't think you have anything to worry about it." Material things, he mentally rolled his eyes. "I am sure you could replace it if it doesn't. Plus..." He reached for her shirt and examined it. Then he shrugged and smiled. "I bet the person whose blood this has been worried enough for the both of you. How is he? she?"
She looked up at him and her smiled faded. "He's dead." she raised an eyebrow and smiled again. "Are you studying here?"
He sighed. "I suppose so." He shrugged. "But from what I gathered there is not much to worry about here either."
"Well I have been here for about half a week and you would think this place would be high on enforcing rules or providing an education. But studying and learning is compromised by the focus of safety making sure no one gets killed everyday. Which in turn is very easy to evade."
She nodded. "Oh, right. I just killed someone and no one is arresting me." she looked at him. "Isn't it odd? I still don't know your name."
He chuckled. "And this is suppose to be a high security school." He shrugged. "But what were they going to do? I just go with it... Oh, Caleb." he reached out his hand.
"Oh comeon. I am not scared of a little blood" he said jokingly. "But... I can't really talk much for others. To be honest you kinda look a little like sh*t." he said nodding at the mud and dried blood on her pants.
He grinned and grabbed her hand. He shook it exaggeratedly. He dropped his hand but still held on to it. He flipped her hand over. "Despite the dried blood and all your hands are really soft." He let go and laughed.
Courtney raised an eyebrow and laughed. "Dude, you are so messed up."
Tristan peered outside his dorm and saw Courtney with a guy. "Courts." he called.
Tristan peered outside his dorm and saw Courtney with a guy. "Courts." he called.
Caleb shrugged and smiled with his mouth closed. He heard a click and turned his head, "I think some-" he began. Tristan had called courtney from a few doors down. He didn't recognize the guy but he recognized Courtney. Caleb looked back at Courtney and finished his sentence, instead of saying "someone is calling you," he had said "someone had just called you."
Courtney nodded. "Yup. Someone did. Tristan, come out."
Tristan went towards them. He looked at the guy. "Uh...hey? I'm Tristan."
Tristan went towards them. He looked at the guy. "Uh...hey? I'm Tristan."
Tristan nodded and looked at Courtney. "You haven't change yet."
Courtney pointed at Caleb. "He stopped me."
Courtney pointed at Caleb. "He stopped me."
Caleb watched the exchange with an interested expression. His eyes were bright, awake, and his face was completely relaxed, perplexed almost. The corners of his lips turned up by the slightest degree. He watched Tristan's dismissal of the now dried blood on her clothes. He was in on it. "I take it you have." he said regarding Tristan's comment, full of assurance. The comment sat in the air as there was a pause. "Hmph," he sighed absentmindedly dismissing the issue as if he was reminiscing on some memory of the past. "Well it isn't like I didn't come to you first about it." he said. He had made it so that Courtney would have stopped. He had put himself in the path of getting bumped into. One he was originally not in.
Florence rushed into the hallway. He had to get to Sophie's room. He had to find her. She could fix this. He didn't want to."Florence?" Caleb said recognizing him. He was in a group with two other people. Florence squinted at them.
"I said I would meet you at-" Caleb began
"Oh you GOT to be kidding me!" Florence said exasperated. He looked at the couple next to Caleb. An angel and of course... another demon.
Caleb looked at him surprised and confused. "Are you alright?"
Florence pushed past them and began knocking at Sophie's door. "Open up. I need you to do something for me." he said rushed as he knocked.
He looked back at the group who were now all staring at him. He nodded at them.
"Florence?" Caleb pushed.
Florence smiled. Naturally. "Everything is fine. And if it isn't I'll fixe it." he said pleasantly. "Seriously." he said reassuringly and nodded his head.
He looked at the others now. "I'm Niklaus by the way" he said now nice.
"What?" Sophie said with an attitude. Her door now wide open. She had wet hair from a shower and was now wearing some sweats and a tank top. Pink bunny slippers covered her otherwise solid black ankle socksFlorence turned her attention to her. He smiled. "That's cute." he said making fun of her. Her looked in nosily into her room. "Hm, made time to remodel. You got a moment?" he asked.
Sophie glared at him. She then looked over to Tristan, Courtney, and... Caleb? She gave them a weird look. "Uh... hi Courtney...er, hi Tristan." she said in a confused voice. She then glared at Caleb.
Florence then looked over to the group. "Oh, do you all know eachother?" he asked.
Sophie pressed her lips and looked at him from the corner of her eyes. "Yeah I got time," she said she pushed his chest with both hands so he was outof her doorway. She went back inside and switched her shoes and grabbed her leather jacket. She locked her room and came out.
"Well..."Florence said to the group. "Nice meeting you Tristan... and Courtney." he had had the slightest hesitation. But his demeanor contradicted it. He gave them a two fingered salute from his eyebrows, "But we're off. Wish we could stay to chat." he said pleasntly. Sophie looked up at him with a weird expression. "Deuces." he said as goodbye then went in the opposite direction with Sophie. "Oh! And I will be seeing you later, Caleb. I might or might not be late." Sophie read into the exchange. She then looked back at the group and waved before going with Florence. When they were a fair distance away she asked, "What's up with you? What are we do-" then they were out of sight. Florence filled her in on his favor.
Courtney watched the conversation silently. She didn't talk and leaned on the wall, nodding when talked to.
Tristan went out his room. "They were in a hurry."
"I can see that." Courtney said with a shrug. "I wonder why..."
"Mind your own business," Tristan said.
She laughed. "Dude, did you just said that? You must be forgetting things."

Caleb watched the space they disappeared off to. Deep in thought, he forgot about the other two there. He turned his attention to hear the end of their conversation. He began to turn his head, his eyes lingering, last to leave the empty hallway. He looked at them blankly for a split second trying to recall what they had just said. "Forgetting what?" he asked
Courtney looked at Caleb. "He's forgetting that I'm helping him with something." she shook her head and grinned. "You asked me to help you with your business now you're saying to mind my own business? Boys...I'll never understand."
Tristan sighed and looked at Caleb. "Do you know them?"
Tristan sighed and looked at Caleb. "Do you know them?"
Caleb smiled as she talked. That was why he was rarely excepted favors from people. They could always use it against you. It was amusing to watch from a different standpoint though. He blinked twice. Oh... Florence and Sop-Vera. He wouldn't even let his thoughts linger. "He's an old friend. They both are." Kinda he mentally added. Technically he just met Vera last week. Technically. None the less...
Caleb side glanced Courtney unintentionally. It was faster than the eye could tell but he pushed back his concern. "Hm..." he said thinking. "Weird" was all he said outloud in a vague tone.
Courtney fidgeted around. "So, what now?"
Tristan looked at her. "Don't we have a hunt? The boy told you something."
"That's for tomorrow. They're not there today. Better caught in the act." Courtney shrugged.

Make your own dorm. Put number before the name and should start with 001 if you're the first one to make a dorm then next is 002...
