No one can use God because it's like power playing. Against our rules. But you can use other angels, if you needed.

Rachael (rachaelt) | 1842 comments Caleb walked over to the guarded gates. He confronted the Gatekeeper who just nodded at him allowing him to continue. He went to find--- it was no use they were waiting for him.
Waiting for him was Sraosha the angel of Obedience. But it was the supervising archangels Raguel (view spoiler) Metatron (view spoiler) and Sariel (view spoiler)that had made Caleb nervous. He had hoped it wouldn't have came to that.
He walked over to them and nodded for them to start.

Rachael (rachaelt) | 1842 comments Metatron frowned down on him. It wasn't that Caleb Caleb was lest respectful of Metatron or that he did not intimidate him. But when he was called here he was hoping it would just be him that lectured him. Raguel and Sariel just came off so much more distant from him. Like titans. Metatron was family. Caleb reached the circle and looked down expecting his lecture. Raguel spoke first. "You know why you are here?" He said in a voice more like a statement than a question.
"Yes"
"And so you know the consequences and risks that come along with it" Sariel continued.
"As if I had a choice" Caleb said rolling his eyes at the ground. Sraosha grabbed his chin and made him look at them aggressively in responce to Caleb insubordinace.
"I haven't done anything wrong." Caleb blurted.
Raguel continued in a gravely calm voice, "Not yet, my boy. But you must be reminded before you continue to be led there."
"You have a duty to fulfill. You mustn't be distracted. You must be ready to do your job. You must be prepared." Sariel added.
"I know. I just- I don't see what the big problem is. It has been centuries. It will probably be even more centuries until I need to be ready."
Sraosha snapped at him. "You do not know when Judgement day is here. No one knows but He. You must be ready now, tomorrow, no distractions."
Caleb looked at Metatron for help. "I know but..."
"Perhaps..." Metatron continued. "Perhaps we could reconsider...."
"Thank you Enoch." Caleb said too excitedly.
Both Sraosha and Raguel gave Metatron a look. Sariel continued to read Caleb's expression. They had snapped their heads at him.
Sraosha complained to Metatron. "That is not your decision to decide. You are here to mentor him and help him achieve his destiny. Not this."
"Sraosha calm down." Sariel commanded. "Your job is to enforce obedience for those who need it. Not criticize those who do not propose a threat to us or to Him."
Sraosha looked down in respect.
"Sandalphon give us a moment." Raguel said after this confrontation.
Caleb watched as the four spoke quietly together in a small circle. Sraosha looked heated. Sariel rebuked Sraosha. And both Metatron and Raguel remained calm.
"What is it that you request?" Metatron said finally aloud to Caleb.
"Am I allowed to speak freely?"
"Yes, my boy, speak." Raguel continued.
"It's just none of it is certain. I don't even know if it is reciprocated or if it'll work out. Plus there are other family problems that prevent it anyways. I just want to be able to have the choice. The choice to even want it. To covet."
Sraosha frowned at his use of words. "One sin leads to others. Free will comes with a price. The original sin-"
Sariel interrupted him, "it is not a history lesson. We all know of the original sin. Go on" he directed to Caleb
"Being who I am. Having the destiny I have. I have already lost so much. I have already lost my free will. In my destiny and how I live this life. I just want to be able to make one choice. One choice."
"You do know it is an honor to be who you are. To be able to sacrifice.." Metatron started
"I know! It is! But it is tiring. I will complete my destiny. Regardless. All of you don't understand. Humans have more freedom than I. Other angels, demons even have more than I. I was given the opportunity to pursue freedom but I stayed here! I don't regret it but I make it a point to say that the discontentment that led the others to Fall may come from the same situations as I am in now."
"You disobedient-!" Sraosha shouted over them.
"Silence!" Raguel's voice boomed. "You may have this choice for now. It is under speculation and debate however. It may be reevaluated and changed at any time. You are free to go."
"Thank you." Caleb turned to leave.
"Oh, San-Caleb. You already have us watching over you here and Metatron Enoch watching you on Earth. Don't make us send another down there with you. Perhaps... Zacharael (view spoiler)."
