Lol. They obviously have grown, relationship wise. I mean they started out wiht that whole rocky hate relationship. the whole "Your a moroi and unnatural" or "Your a vampire hating alchemist" but have grown. They went to actually caring. :) and i thought that at the end when she was actually looking at him and seeing him as like a guy instead of a monster. Omg. I can't wait for The Golden Lilly!!! :) i feel so bad for Adrian, that Dimitri has to come and ruin his happiness. But maybe Sydney can keep his mind off him. ;)

I so can't wait to see if they end up together.

I love the idea of Sydrian!!! They're complete opposites in every way possible, so they complement each other :) Gah, I can't wait until The Golden Lily!

I'm totally on board with the idea of Sydney and Adrian together! I hope things are gonna heat up between them in The Golden Lily!

It's going to be interesting with a possible relationship between a Moroi and an Alchemist! Bring it on! :-D

I like them together but it will take a long time. Sydney has to give up her family and the job she has trained her whole life for. She has been ingrained with this idea forever so I know it will take a lot to get to leave it all for Adrian. Adrian is a sweet heart and he won't care that she is human. He never cared about Rose being a dhampir.

I feel bad that Dimitri came and ruined it too but, looking foward to him and Adrian working together. Can you say "Drama," :) I can't wait for golden Lilly too.

I think they'd be great together if she could get over her prejudice and fear.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was. Her dad seems to pressure her into being this perfect person.

If you know the psychology behind an ED it's actually quite obvious. She is constantly being pressured by her father to be perfect at everything - there are many examples of this - it's usually not about someone telling them they're fat - it's most often their anxiety over trying to be perfect and trying to control everything in their lives - and when they feel like they are losing control of things they exert control over their bodies and feel better because they are taking it out on something they can control and feel immense satisfaction from losing weight and a sense of achievement. and of course the anxiety over being perfect is a very strong factor. but an eating disorder can attack anyone at any time. yes there are factors in their life and environment that cause this but many are born with the predisposition of some sort of mental illness or disorder. this is why it doesn't surprise me. she's such a perfectionist and so his her dad. she probably inherited this

I love them together. After that entire Rose situation, Adrian really deserved to find someone who would be good for him. But I still have to state that that whole thing with Rose was Adrian's fault. If he hadn't blackmailed her into dating him when he knew she was still in love with Dimitri he never would have gotten hurt so badly. I'm glad he's getting over her so that she can live a happy peaceful--well as much peace a vampire-killer can have--life with Dimitri!

So I know this thread hasn't been visited in a little bit but i just had to...

Sydrian is quite possibly one of the best pairings ever!!!!! :D I need the Fiery Heart so the feels can keep coming:) when the series started I knew they'd eventually kick it off but I'm so proud of both of their character developments!!! They are amazing! :)

I can't agree that it was all Adrian's fault. He didn't hold a gun to Rose's head and force her to date him. The whole "blackmail" thing between then could have been fixed if Rose had just said she would pay back the money he gave her instead of choosing to string Adrian along when she knew he loved her more than she loved him.

While I can agree that it was a bad decision on Adrian's part to pursue anything with Rose when he knew she loved someone else, that doesn't excuse the way Rose treated him and the heartless way she ended their relationship.

They are so cute! i love them! i hate the actor and actress for them in that youtube video thing though! dont match their character at all! Dianna Agron and Chance Crawford for them! (:

I am crazier about Rose & Dimitri's love, but I think Adrian and Sydney's sexual scenes are SO much HOTTER! (a selfish part of me still want Adrian to be in love with Rose though xP)

but i still loved Adrian and i think that Sydney is way better for him than Rose (although i love Rose too but she is too tough for him )

I think they match perfectly, but I still can't see they having a happy ending [although in The Fiery Heart there may be facts that can change this thought of mine].
Remember a quote from Rose and Adrian's breakup scene?
"No,' I said. "I think you're amazing. I think you're strong. But I don't think you've realized it--or learned how to use any of that.' And, I wanted to add, I wasn't the person who could inspire that in him.
We can see that Sydney is that person.
Also, as the books reveal, Ivashkov is the only one who can understands her [thanks to his ability in seeing auras] and antecipates her thoughts; and sometimes he's the guy who makes her give priority to her beliefs and needs instead of the Alchemist's.
They work so well together it hurts.

They are so perfect . Love them.
