You guys are going to love this book! I've picked it as a monthly selection and I'm loving this so far...Cael has just had his first encounter with Paige..Blood sucking vamp that he is! It's my vamp fix for the month!

Cael Maccinnis is one hell of an ancient vampire. I love the way he pays nighttime visits to Paige. It's very sensual how he entrances her, suckling on her life blood, satisfying both the hunger of feeding and desire while she is still unaware of him being more than a dream. I am wondering how he begins to bring her into awareness of him in her conscious state. By then I bet she will become addicted to him.

I am enjoying this tale a lot!

Cael has discovered there is druid magic enchantments shield Paige from knowledge of her true self. Cael is concerned for her safety and is growing increasingly possessive of her. He wants her to drink of him when she goes through the Awakening, and only him. Yet in the council, the ancient vampires have felt the the presence of a new vampire approaching the awakening...the tension is building.....

I can't wait to read the next chapter. And to see what the Fates have in store for these pawns in their games!

I haven't managed to read this yet, but sounds very interesting, and I love vampires!

How is the flow of the book?

Hi, I'm new to this group and not really sure how this works, but The Third Fate does sound interesting. Is it to late to join? Am in need of a Vampire fix!

Nick, I want to thank you for posting a discussion board on The Third Fate! I'm beyond falling over to see it up here. Gah! Really, thank you :}

The flow of the books is nice and smooth! Moves right along and advances the plot. And here and there are bits of "The Fates" - little children-like beings that determine and influence futures. It sort of reminds me like the Greek Gods in the original Clash of the Titans - Where they are looking at a miniature representation of what's going on down at Earth and they can reach down change things, changing the destiny and fate of people (I think Zeus changed the fate of Heracles in that movie)

Anyhow...the Fates aspect of this tale makes it stand out from other vamp novels. I love the fact that there is this "force" out there that can manipulate the fates of super-natural beings.

Plus..the heroine, Paige, is a hottie librarian. (Yeah Cael is hot to with his accent and all) But a sexy librarian..who is also half-vampire... mmmmm! LOL.

I just wish I had more time to read..lately, with starting a new job and adjusting to a new schedule, my reading time (and writing) has suffered a little bit!

I am enjoying The Third Fate and I am also going to review it on my blog when I am done! (Yeah- I like it that much!)

I'm finished with The Third Fate! I finished this book last night! What a story! Cael and Paige make one exciting and wonderful hero/heroine couple. An ancient vampire and half-blood vampire/druid priestess make a very powerful force! I very much would love to see a sequel to this tale! I can't wait to write my full review! Nadja was able to make a vampire novel that stood out in my opinion--I just love the little Fates and their power!
