In the same year that Norwich is celebrating its UNESCO City of Literature status, Rethink Press, a new Norfolk-based publishing business, is starting up to help writers get their work into print. To celebrate its launch, Rethink is holding a competition for fiction authors to get their novel published.

Set up by Lucy McCarraher, an East Anglian novelist and self-help author, Rethink offers an alternative route to traditional and self-publishing.

The competition gives authors a chance to get their novels published within the next 12 months. Three prizes include:

• Best novel. A publication package worth £1,999 including marketing, PR and an author website

• Runner up novel. A runner up will also have their novel published

• Best East Anglian novel. A special publishing contract is on offer for the best novel set in, or about, East Anglia

10th September is the closing date - so you have 3 months to get your entry in. Though get it in early if your novel is written!

Which countries is this available for?

Any country at all, as long as you're writing is in English. Prize winners will be published on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk - and in other territories if you have connections there.
