(don't worry. I understood :)Alhamdullah. Wbu? Keefik?
Never heard of that show. Don't really watch Arabic shows
Neither do I, but my mom got me addicted to this show, even though I understand almost nothing, hahaha. Do you know Arabic well?
Well that's why I don't watch Arabic shows lol. Don't really understand. I'm getting better with my Arabic though so that's a good thing
Haha, me too. Do you know how to read arabic? Or write? I wish I knew. I mean, I do, but I am so slow at it.
Aww haha yeah haven't watched that in so long. But I remember middle eastern guys better cuz it reminds me so much of my brothers. And my brothers said middle Eastern girls reminds him of me. I don't see it... Lol
Yeah, same. But it's funny b/c he's like, "mom, i'm going to the library," and he has the hooka thing in his hand, haha
Lol yeah. At that part my sister was like thats me always pretending to go to the library cuz I luv going to the library! Haha
i know right? its suppose to be the opposite! well yeah its hard to believe but it is what it is. because ppl dont care enough to make Ramadan a big celebration everyone is just fasting thats it.
That's so weird. I don't like that. Most people would expect the total opposite. So everyone is just fasting cause they have to? Do they even say Ramadan Mubarak?
Assalamualaikum and Ramadan Mubarak :)I saw an interesting post here and since I had to join to comment, that's what I did. Nice to meet you all

Asalama Alaikum. My name is Humaira. I was born Muslim and I'm still am one. I understand the concept since my family is a very strict one based on faith. But I'm lacking behind and I'm not really feeling it. I don't pray a lot, or read the Qur'an and its like I'm leading myself astray. Any ideas on what to do or help? Because I really want to become a better Muslim and have a better relationship with Allah (SWT)
walaikum salam, Ayeesha.
As long as u r contemplating about ur relationship with Allah(swt) it's alright! It means u r concerned about ur salah and ur fitrah telling u what ur doing is wrong.
Frankly speaking u are in a better position than many of the muslims in today's world! You see muslims all over the places and they don't even bat an eye when it comes to the commandments of Allah(SWT)!
My suggestion to u will be not to get depressed for not fulfilling ur duty, As Allah(SWT) said Himself, "La Tahzan" literally meaning "do not despair"! So just carry on ur good works and if u still missing prayers make tawbah and vow to urself that u aint gonna repeat that mistakes but if u do so then still carry on that path. And in order to find khushuu in salah u need to memorize some surahs and their translations in ur own mother tongue. there are numerous small chapters in quran like ikhlas, kawthar, nasr etc just memorise some of them and recite them in ur salah so that u can understand what u r reciting. that's it once u get the habit of it u'll never feel dejecting ur prayers.
PS: I would like to recommend u listening to the snippets or lectures of many honorable shaykhs around the globe. u can find them on youtube and also there are many online youtube channels offering dawah.
My recommendation will be: Shaykh Zahir Mahmood, Mufti Menk, Shaykh Hoblos, Shaykh Khalid Yasin, Hamza Tzortzis and youtube channels like
The Merciful servant, The Prophets path,Talk Islam etc
Listen to and watch their works spend times on these and inshaAllah u'll gain benefits.
bi-idnillah. :)
