I've enjoyed books by four of the authors you listed. Now, with your list I have more intriguing books to add to my books-to-read.
So many books, so little time. :)

Totally agree Shell. Nice always to have lots of choices mind you. I've got about 200 books in my TBR shelves to pick from and always find new recommendations on these pages.
Theresa wrote: "Congratulations on your new assignment as moderator! Enjoy!"Thanks, Theresa, I'm sure I will.. it's definitely getting me more involved. :0)
Dear Moderators,
I am a Crime Author who is currently looking for some beta readers and I wanted to ask if it would be ok to create a post in this group for the readers who may be interested.
Many Thanks,
Hardit.

Hardit - I think if you post it in the Author's Corner section of the site, it would be alright. I'm sort of new in the moderator role, but that is the spot for Author's to promote their books and such.
Bill wrote: "Good luck with finding beta readers. Is this a finished book or one that's in progress?"
Thank you :) It's a finished novel
Thank you :) It's a finished novel
Thanks for sigining on. This is the first group I joined on Goodreads, and I continue to enjoy it immensely.
I haven't done a great job lately as I was spending some vacation time in Britain. But I will be spending more regular time here now..

Welcome Bill! I joined this group recently and I'm enjoying it very much. How disciplined you must be to read the books in order like that. I'm reading the Agatha Christie "The Mysterious Affair at Styles" right now....I'm glad you gave it four stars. I like it so far.
I'm not all that disciplined, Lori, but it was a challenge I wanted to try this year. I may continue with the Mystery challenge next year from where I leave off this year. Glad you are enjoying Syles. Nice comforting mystery.
hi billi just saw the titles of books you have read since january and i must say
it boggles the mind
but how lucky we are to have a co-leader with such broad interests

Thanks, Robert. Variety is the spice of life; I enjoy most genres, just love reading for the pure enjoyment. Look forward to discovering your interests. :0)
I'm just catching up after a busy few weeks & wanted to welcome a fellow BC mystery fan. Nice to meet you, Bill!
Thanks very much, R.E. I think I'll be setting up the next Poll to give Donna and Hayes some assistance.. Very excited.. :0) And enjoying the varied discussion as well in this group.

The other one I was a member of I could not get the books for the group reads. So far I have been able to find them at the library for the ones here.

That's good to hear, Heidi. I hope the books selected in the future continue to be accessible to you.
Bill, I was very happy to see you give Colin Cotterill's The Coroner's Lunch five stars -- this is one of my favorite series. Siri is a fabulous character & Cotterill allows his stories and characters to grow and evolve through the series. I haven't read them all yet... I'm stretching them out to savor over time.I have great confidence in a moderator with such good taste :)... and I'm delighted you've agreed to take this on.
I would like to say hi Bill and hi to everyone. I'm new myself and also come from Canada.I joined Goodreads in May and so far have read 35 books and they are all mostly mysteries.I love reading and when I'm not reading I'm either painting (I'm a decorative artist) or talking about reading. Can't wait to get more recommendation for new reads.Like all mysteries except romantic mysteries.
