Okay the votes are in and our first Poetry theme is... Corruption.

I think it qualifies... it is about how hate 'corrupts' everything you do if you let it in your life.

Beware the beast in you
Should you feed it
It will consume your soul
Haunt your dreams
Eat your heart
Cloud your judgment
Rip apart your mind
It will allow you to breathe
But takes way your life
It is livng death
It makes you hollow inside
Like a wild fire
It burns all those around it
Spreads to others
Until all are consumed
It is easy to fall to the Monster
But you must fight it
Or you'll become the demon
And lose your self (hide spoiler)]

Looking for something

Watched the flames lick everything way
Leaving you empty
You’re barely alive

Symptoms may have gone
But the disease, it still remains
I welcomed in the nightmare
Gave up myself in darkness
This path, It’s the one I chose to take
For that I am to blame
