LOL
How's everyone doing on the book? I'm liking it so far. It's an easy read. There are a few predictable tropes in it, but the action moves along at a decent pace and the characters are relatively engaging. I also like that it's not just another Magdalene lineage story, but involves the relics of another Biblical character. Intriguing conspiracy as well.
I got the first two pages read after your post reminded me. Seems promising. First person present tense is unusual. Is it that way all the way through?
Unfortunately, yes. I didn't realize it was first person, which I don't normally like. But it seems to be working for the story so far.
Anyone complete the book yet? Also, please feel free to nominate things for next time. Apparently, this one was a flop. LOL
after 9chapters i put it aside, either i'm in the wrong frame of mind or it is a wrong read for me. you did take the initiative to try.

You gave it your best shot :) can't do more than that! It just turned out to be a nonstarter for some of us.
I'm more than happy to keep trying, LOL.OK, here are three free books and their links for downloading off Tuebl. Which one would most of you like to read next month?
The Help - http://tuebl.com/book/show/id/1677
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter - http://tuebl.com/book/show/id/403
A Brewing Storm (A Richard Castle mystery) - http://tuebl.com/book/show/id/19843
Here's a little trivia about the Abraham LinColn one: In the movie, they had to actually design a martial art using a woodcutting axe for the character. The actor had to learn the martial art as they developed it.
I've read The Help (great book!) and I've read Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (also a great book). A Brewing Storm frankly doesn't interest me....
I've already read The Help (which was really good), but I would be interested in reading Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.
Free? Very nice. Thanks Meghan.

Have at it!
